Great location but condo needs improvements
Overall our stay was good but it was just me and my 10-year-old child. We didn’t spend much time in the room but if we would have the trip would have been mediocre at best. Upon arrival the place was clean but the fridge was not cold due to it needing repairs (suction did not work), the dishwasher was not useable due to it being dislodged from its location, the sliding screen balcony door would constantly stick, and there was no amenities card in the room. The lady from customer service was very nice and got us an amenity card and the maintenance guy to look at the fridge. There were no repairs made on the fridge during our stay so we used the living room end table to keep the fridge door shut so our food/drinks would remain cold. We were told by maintenance we could tape it shut (find a way to keep it shut) or get a cooler and ice and be reimbursed. We just used the end table which was inconvenient throughout the trip but I didn’t push the issue since it was only me and my child. I also believe the bedding and pillows need to be updated. The sheets felt scratchy/stiff and the pillows were extremely flat. Thankfully the mattress was okay. Currently, I would only recommend this place if they made updates and repairs because the location, views, and price are excellent but the issues during our stay definitely need addressed. I feel like a partial refund is needed to make things right for the issues during our trip. I spent the majority of the first afternoon and morning speaking with customer service and maintenance to ensure they knew all of the issues with appliances and the lack of amenities card were caused before our arrival. If they fix these issues before new guests then this place would be an excellent choice for vacation.
