The property was very nice and as shown in the pictures. The upper pool is very shallow with no filtration, so it stays pretty warm. The lower pool is VERY nice, and stays clean. The location is very convenient and close to a dive shop, restaurants, etc.

The View. There are a few wonderful features regarding this property. But, the view top's the list. Panoramic with beautiful sunsets. What this property does best: 1) View 2) Aesthetics and Decor 3) Windows 4) LayoutConstructive criticism: City electricity went out twice during our stay (not the property fault and they supported us through out); Water heater did not work multiple times and needed to be reset; Air conditioning; Quality of bed sheets; Older and small washer and dryer.The A/C and electricity bill is worth noting. As a guest, you receive a utility allowance. We spent between 10-12 hours outside the house each day. We used 4 bedrooms in addition to common areas. Turned A/C off when not occupying a space (numerous "reminders" to our 3 kids (18, 18, and 20). We consumed an additional 300 USD during a week stay due to electricity. It is manageable, but did not expect the additional cost ahead and the house was not comfortable until we hit the early evening. Once it was 6pm, perfect. Overall, a wonderful property. Excellent communication and support. Clean with the most beautiful views.

This home was everything it said it would be. We had an amazing time here. Beautiful views, house was stocked with everything we needed. Property manager wonderful. Walk to the resort beach and restaurant was easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in paradise.

This is an absolutely lovely house and the view is even more amazing once you see it in person. It is modern and well-built with luxury touches in the lighting, kitchen, and bathrooms. The bedrooms are very quiet and comfortable at night. The downstairs pool area was almost as enjoyable for our party as going to any of the local beaches. We didn't use the upstairs shallow pool much but that area is comfortable as well. We scheduled a private chef (Brandon) suggested by the management for three dinners and they were amazing. The attached resort/beach is nice just to have something walkable for meals, although we enjoyed two other beaches within 15 minutes of the house more for an actual beach experience. One thing to be aware of is the air-conditioning: the bedrooms (upstairs) are absolutely comfortable, but the downstairs area tends to always be a bit warm, even with the two AC units running, as it is connected to the open area upstairs that is not air-conditioned. We followed their advice and kept curtains and shades drawn during the heat of the day, and also turned everything off when leaving the house. Doing that (and keeping the bedrooms pretty cool at night plus running the downstairs fairly liberally when we were there), we did NOT run over the 400 deposit we paid for utilities coverage and in fact ended up getting a refund. So I wouldn't stress too much about using the AC when you want to, the charges for an island are actually quite reasonable.

Nothing can beat this view . . . waking up in the morning and walking down the stairs to the kitchen took our breath away every day. Rooms and bathrooms were nice and large. Pool was amazing. We enjoyed the location as well - far from the bustle of the tourist center but close enough to some great beaches and restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Curaçao. The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect for a relaxing vacation.Our host was exceptional—very responsive, friendly, and helpful with local tips that made our trip even better. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere, the well-equipped kitchen, and the overall safety and cleanliness of the area.This property truly felt like a home away from home. In a word our stay at Escape Villa was wonderful. We had 3-generations of family visiting Curaçao for the first time. The location of the villa and the proximity to Coral Estate restaurants, spa and dive centre was perfect for us. Our daughters re-certified their diving during our stay and were pleased at how close that was to the villa. We took advantage of the private chef with a Mexican feast one night that was great. We rented a large vehicle from a company on the resort who also arranged a it transfers for us. We visited local beaches and Willemstad more than a few times and always an easy drive with lots of parking. Everything at the villa was first class, lots of room, the pool and views were great. Also very quiet in the evenings. Finally, our hosts and property manager were great and a couple of small items were taken care of right away. I also thought this vacation was great value for money and we are hoping for a 4-generation family visit again soon (hint hint).

Almost perfect. This is a lovely spacious home in a perfect location. The only reason I didn't give 5* is because I feel that for a 10-night stay there should be an interim cleaning included. At the very least, a towel/linen exchange should be done. The pool and outdoor space was stunning and clean and well kept. The location is perfect distance between the downtown and the secluded beaches. The house is located just above the resort for an easy staircase access to the restaurants and beach. The snorkeling at Coral Estates resort was great!We only used A/C in the bedrooms during sleep so the extra utilities charge was pretty minimal. It was well disclosed so it wasn't unexpected. Communication with the owner and property manager was great.

Dear Tiare, you stated that the only reason why you did not give us 5star rating is that you assume , that for a 10 nights stay, the in between cleaning should be inlusive. We would like to make clear that all guests when filling the guest list prior their arrival, have the chance to order in between cleaning for a very low fee ( 150,00 USD for the whole 5 bedrooms & 5 bathrooms villa incl.towels change ) or even a daily cleaning and daily towel change. You did not book any of theese services. The reason why its not inclusive and we better let the guests decide, is that we have many different groups coming, some incl their own stuff such as maids and nannies and prefer privacy and strictly do not want stuff in the house, therefore we have it this way so each group can decide what sort of cleaning tehy want, so its not about the 15USD per night within 10 nights stay, but about the stay planning and individuall approach we have to all our guest groups. Family Vacation

We had the best stay at Escape Villa. The house was just as described (so beautiful) and Ryan, the host, was there for whatever we needed. We had Chef Mo in to make a meal that was fantastic! I highly recommend a stay here.

Villa Escape is beautiful and perfect for a vacation with friends and family. The house is gorgeous and the views are the best I’ve ever seen. It’s so convenient having access to the amenities of Coral Estate Resort. We felt safe and it’s very quiet at the house. You have to have a car to travel around the island.The utility bill is not bad, we were not overly stressed about it but we were conscious about consumption. Book a private chef for a meal or 2, it’s well worth it. Communication is great between manager and owners.

Great property that exceeded expectations. The views were phenomenal from all 4 upstairs bedrooms as well as the downstairs kitchen and living area. The 2 outdoor pool decks give the feeling of being at your own resort. Highly recommended.

Amazing place location and Host

House is everything that shows and more. If you are a diver this is great location you can reach the East and west ind of the island 30-45 min. We were a group of eight and this house accommodates us well. From bedrooms to pools to kitchen all plenary of room and had all the amenities we needed Host and manager communication was excellent. Beautiful Villa...True to the Online Pictures

The Escape Villa was exactly what we were looking for and was true to what you see online. The four bedrooms on the top level were beautifully appointed and provided an excellent view of the ocean and village below. We absolutely loved the place, the view, the pools (yes, there are two), the open-air concept in the living room, the safe community, and the walking access to the restaurants in the area. Check-in and out was extremely easy and the Property Manager was a delight. The fifth room was a bit smaller than the other four bedrooms, but overall, the villa was exceptional.

The property was amazing. It is in a perfect location to the beach and bar/dining. Very comfortable.

We had a very good time at this property. The owners are wonderful people and very easy to work with. It is located on a part of the island that is between and city nightlife and the gorgeous beaches. Perfect location! The accommodations at the villa are exactly as in the pictures. You will not be disappointed. The gated community is very safe. I ran a few miles each morning and never felt nervous. The guards at the gate are very friendly. The information desk at the resort was extremely informative. We would definitely rent this villa again.

Great House for Adults

We were in Curaçao for my husband’s birthday trip.There were 4 couples in total. The house is just as described. This was our 6th visit to the island, but the first staying in this area. The noise restrictions (10pm) and paying for electricity were new for us, but did not dampen the festivities. The house itself is great, other than a few broken utensils, no propane for the outside grill and a non working ceiling fan, everything was as expected.

We stayed at villa Escape for seven nights with six of our closest friends we had an amazing stay the house was very clean well equipped with just about anything you could need.Being part of a resort was a big plus for us as we could walk down to several restaurants when we didn’t want to cook.The view was amazing my husband and I loved it so much we are now house hunting in Coral Estates. Couple of down sides the driveway is quiet treacherous very narrow and steep will loose pavers.The only other thing I would say is if you want air conditioning be prepared to pay, we only had the air on in the bedrooms at night never even turned the air on anywhere else in the house and ended up being charged 250 at check out for over usage.The location of this house within Coral Estates was perfect very close to the resort amenities, it’s about 30 minutes from Wilamstad which we were fine with you are a hop skip and and jump from all the Westpunt amazing beaches etc overall we had an incredible week and highly recommend this property.

Over all a nice place.

House was beautiful, great location. Only down side was they only give one towel per guest. We had six people and only five towels. It took 3 days to get an extra towel. Also you have to pay utility's after your stay. It made us feel very uncomfortable thinking we had worry about how much we would be charged in the end. Over all we had a good experience. I would recommend this property.

Beautiful home and pool with great location

Property was just as advertised. Beautiful and well equipped home with incredible view. Easy assess to resort with spa, two restaurants/bar, and beach. Great central location to get to east and west of the island country. There were 10 adults and we rented a van which allowed us to tour to Willemstad, curaçao distillery, Serena’s art factory (home of the Chichi art), shete boka national park, and more. We are not active scuba or water sports crew, but were happy to hang at the pool. Afternoon heat is strong, but happy hour on other side of house in the shade was awesome. Thanks for a fun 60th birthday celebration.

Wonderful stay...but...

Overall this was a great property. Good mid island location- need a car but nothing too far. Nice beaches close by, grocery stores a short drive away. Ryan was exceptional for dining recommendations and for dealing with everyday house issues which were few. Expect extra charges for water and electricity at the end- despite the fact that we all tried to be very frugal with water and A/C, we had almost a $600 overage in the end. If indeed utilities are that expensive, it may be a bit less of a shock if the daily rate is a bit higher to eliminate sticker shock at the end of the holiday. Would stay again without hesitation.
