Disappointing
Paid extra fee of $525 to heat pool. Worked 1-2 days at most but because we did not call every day it didn't work - only refunded for 2 days, even after one point being told I would be refunded for the amount of days it didn't work. My fault I guess for not calling every day it didn't work. We had 3 different service calls but last Pool man said filters needed replacing which prevented proper heating.Queen bed broken in bunk room. Told to put mattress on floor. Fixed last night of stay so again no refund or even apology. In fact told since the bed was fixed on the last night it was no longer a problem. Dirty pans in cabinets that had to be washed before use. Ocean Reef management company was very polite responding to problems but never acknowledged that these were not small inconveniences but impacted the quality of trip and the value of the property. We rented this property because of the amount of beds and a heated pool. They ignored the fact we had to sleep on the floor for 6 nights. Only got 2 days of pool refund after many phone calls and was really not enough.Even splitting the pool fee would have gone a long way.Have rented many times before. I don't expect things not to happen but when they happen and can't be fixed it does impact the overall experience of the trip. Property well located and is nice but with so many nice properties in the area I would never choose this one again or any home managed by this company.
