The house was great. Three adult couples had loads of space in a central location. We made day trips to Bunratty, Loop Head, Cliffs of Mohr and the Burren very easily. We highly recommend this house.
Lovely house in a great rural area, beach is just at the end of the road and the wild Atlantic way is not to be missed. Loved the area and the house was spacious and lovely.
The house was wonderful and is a great layout. Plenty of room for everyone, or enough space if you wanted to be alone. The check in process was easy. The house is in a beautiful area and loved the surrounding towns.
Very clean and comfortable home in a good location to visit lovely sites around County Clare. We had easy access to the west of Ireland including the Aran islands.
Would definitely come back again.
The property was great for a family with little kids as it has a yard, and rooms are separated for quiet time.
Host was very responsive and friendly.
It is very close to the water and a small little town. And a short drive to the larger areas to visit.
The house is close to Quilty and accessible to many of the top tourist destinations in Clare.
It's location facilitated our trips to many of these including Loop Head, The Cliffs of Moher, Lahinch etc.
The location of the house itself is rural and very relaxing.

Amazing holiday.
Our third visit to Ireland. A most enjoyable stay. House was excellent, everything you could want or need.
County Clare itself is beautiful, we've explored new places and spent hours on the beach, building sandcastles etc. Ireland is relaxing and wonderful. To be honest I could quite happily of stayed!
The communication between owner/caregiver and us was very good. The home was clean and spacious.
There is a booking containing information on things regarding the house. A few things need to be updated such as the stove and stores but otherwise everything was great!
It was an absolutely beautiful property is a nice location. The amenities within the property were sufficient. Where we had an issue was we arrived on a Saturday. By Wednesday we reported to the site manager the poor conditions of the 2 queen mattresses. They were inspected by the site manager and then reported to the property owner who visited a few days later. He acknowledged that the mattresses were “broken down” and should have been replaced. The owner said he would go to the furniture store on Monday for replacements. We never heard from him again for the remainder of our stay.

It is regrettable that you felt this way about the mattress but by the time we could get an order and delivery of a replacement mattress arranged you had already vacated as you were leaving a few days later. Your family member also confirmed to me that you had availed of an unused bedroom and that this was sufficient for your stay.

Great house and perfect location
We spent almost a month at this home and it fit our needs perfectly! It was convenient to all the places that we wanted to be in County Clare and for where we wanted to travel. The owner and the caretaker responded right away when there was a boiler issue, and a plumber was called in to replace the switch. The house, bathrooms, and the "snug" were great and comfortable. The kitchen and its fixtures were excellent as we did cook in a lot! We also loved the community--being there as long as we were we did get to know some of the community residents! We loved our visit to Ireland, reconnected with a lot of family and will return! We would highly recommend this lovely home!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Tired decor
The location was great, and very helpful manager. Property was in need of refreshing: a deep clean of carpets, curtains and upholstery not something you could do during changeover. Also some painting required, especially the kitchen. A paucity of placemats, table mats and coasters was particularly frustrating, given the constant reminders to not place hot items on surfaces. The random selection of wine glasses was bizarre. We were surprised that there was no welcome pack, a few tea bags and cheap coffee hardly count. We are used to fresh milk, bread, wine and a selection of local produce from our previous trips. This was a poor reflection of Irish hospitality.

Sorry the house did not meet your expectations on this occasions, self catering may not have been aligned with your groups (all adults) requirements.
This beautiful home was perfect and equipped with any amenities needed. There was 4 of us adults staying here and we had lots of room to comfortable. Located in the countryside there are views all around of nature at it's best. Cattle grazing, an ocean view from upper windows, beautiful sunsets. Roads are narrow but you get use to them and traffic is very light in the area. We went out everyday into surrounding towns and attractions and the distance was not unreasonable so commute was not a problem. We would 100% recommend this place for an enjoyable stay. Must also mention Aga who was the person handling our smooth transition into the property.. She was excellent in her thoroughness in giving us many details to make our stay comfortable. Thank you Paul.
