Welcome to our Saint Simons Island oasis, Sweetwater Retreat! Located on the Island's highly sought after East Beach and just steps from our pool and the Atlantic Ocean, the newly-upgraded four-level (with elevator) island tabby townhome offers 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Once you step through the orange door, you will find a clean, fully-appointed and beautifully decorated home with everything you will need for your vacation!

The second level offers a welcoming and comfortable open layout with ample seating - the ideal gathering place! The large, fully-equipped gourmet kitchen provides everything you will possibly need come meal time. The dining table seats eight, or keep it casual and pull up one of the stools at the breakfast bar. Head to the living room to enjoy your favorite show, the big game, or movie night on the brand new 65" LG OLED TV with a SONOS soundbar and Xfinity X1 HD DVR. Looking for some peace and quiet? Step out onto the back deck, where you can relax in our adirondack chairs with your morning coffee, evening cocktail, or good book.

Each of the four comfortable bedrooms features a full en-suite bathroom as well as a high-definition TV. There are two master bedroom suites with king size beds on the the third level. The fourth level has two full size beds and features a spacious walk-out balcony with ocean views - perfect for hosting happy hour!

Sweetwater Retreat is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping, as well as the Village, Pier, and Lighthouse.

Great Stay

We had an awesome trip to SSI and loved this townhome. It had everything we needed, and the kitchen was amazingly stocked. The location is incredible, and we all felt very safe, comfortable, and relaxed throughout our entire trip! We would definitely go back! Travelled with 3 kids and two grandparents, and we all slept comfortably and enjoyed ourselves!

This is a lovely property that is very spacious and conveniently located. The property manager was very responsive to a minor maintenance issue and it was remedied within the day. The beach is great for young families with relatively calm waters. The pool was well cared for and not crowded whatsoever. Lovely stay. Highly recommended.

We were extremely impressed with the condition & amenities of the property! The owner was very prompt in assisting us in any way. We loved the proximity to the beach & enjoyed some of the suggested local eateries. If you get a chance, put a sunrise outing to Driftwood Beach on your itinerary, only 20 minutes away! Wonderful property with an easy walk to the beach

Our group of two adults and kids ranging from 17 to 21 had a wonderful stay at this east beach townhome. The unit was clean with plenty of linens and very comfortable beds for all. The decorating was updated and the layout was perfect for our crew. The teenagers loved the upstairs balcony! Easy access to overflow parking. The owners were easy to communicate with before and during our stay. Everyone agreed the townhome was a great find and the location was fabulous. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Stay on Beautiful St. Simons

The property was exactly as described. The location is so nice for quick access to the beach and a short drive to some great restaurants and shops. We had nothing but great meals and service everywhere! This place had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and amenities for the beach. A few of the beach chairs were not usable (broken) but we brought some along so all was good. Quick responses from Justin were very helpful. The WiFi was a bit sporadic but we managed ;) I would highly recommend staying here!

Our family and I came down for Spring Break getaway and could not have ask for a more wonderful experience and beautiful, comfortable, extremely well decorated fun townhouse and place to stay. We were so happy with everything and especially the amount of towels and beach items provided by the owner for our stay. The listing is just as described and with 4 levels the elevator was an amazing asset to carry in groceries and luggage. Communication with owners was excellent. I can not say enough positive things about our experience and stay.

Wonderful Vacation

Returning from an amazing week on SSI. The condo was wonderful. Fully equipped with anything you can think of. Very clean and well decorated to makes you feel at home. Short walk to the pool and beach. Justin responded quick with any questions. SSI is a great place for a vacation. You can relax on the beach, visit historical sites, walk on the pier, paddle board and eat at some great restaurants. Planning on returning next year. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your condo. Wonderful

There is a reason why this property has a 5 star rating!! Everything was wonderful! Everything is just as described! The kitchen was very well stocked and there was plenty of room to sit and eat together as a family. The beds were super comfortable! There were chairs, a wagon and cooler that we could use for the beach - even beach towels! The owners really do think of everything! The pool and beach were great - and we never felt crowded. We hardly had to drive for 5 minutes to enjoy awesome food and service. Also, Ashley was great at communicating and answering all of my questions beforehand. I highly recommend this condo!

Fantastic. This house really has it all- especially love the deck on the fourth floor. Proximity to the beach, the pool which was never crowded- that’s important to us during covid. The beach had lots of social distancing. The owners were really responsive! Neighbors were nice too. Only small thing was there was some construction next door- it’s over now but it was a little annoying to hear the hammering during the day. That’s literally the only drawback- everything else was perfect!

Perfect perfect perfect

From our first interaction with Justin, I knew we had found a place that would feel like home. And it did! Sweetwater was spacious, clean, well equipped and perfect for our family. The beach is steps away, the on-site pool was quiet and private, the neighborhood was close to everything. We biked, walked, and tooled around the darling island in a golf cart. Justin recommended fun things to do and great restaurants. He communicated with us daily to see how our stay was going. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more including spices, coffee filters and sweeteners. They had laundry detergent, soap, Kleenex. I’ve never had a VRBO so well stocked. If you are thinking about Sweetwater, stop thinking and just book.

Fantastic Experience, Super Response Owner

First time VRBO users. Rented the house with another family. 8 guests (4 adults, 4 kids) stayed 10 days. Houses was everything it was advertised to be. Pool and beach super close, both better than advertised. Quiet clean pool, HUGE wide beach. The house has every of you could need, finishes were very nice. Owners have thought of everything down to extra batteries for the Tv remote, phone chargers galore, and every kitchen utensil a chef or bartender could ask for. 2 master bedrooms were key to staying with 2 families. The owner, Justin was super accessible before, during and after our stay, had all the answers and made the experience top notch. First visit to SSI, the house is in a great location. Walking distance to downtown, shops, bars, restaurants. Close to golf, bike rentals, waking/running trails, kayaking tours, horseback riding tour. Thanks to Justin’s visitor guide we hit all the attractions, ate at all best the local restaurants and were able to coordinate beach chair and umbrellas to be setup every day by the ocean. Perfect beach getaway to recharge with friends and family. Great, relaxing trip, we would defiantly go back to SSI and would be honored to be Justin’s guests again in the future!

Great Service & Attention to Detail!

This property is amazing! Everything was super clean. Property has been updated & is very modern. Very nicely decorated with beautiful furnishings. Justin & Ashley have spared no detail! They have gone above and beyond from the electronic keypad on the entry door and nest smart system, tvs, chargers and speakers in every room, a fully appointed and labeled kitchen with everything you could need including a keurig. The beds are super comfortable with fresh white linens, nice pillows, & the baths have plush towels and bath mats. Very nice furnishings. Plenty of drawers and closet space. With 4 bedrooms there is plenty of room for a large family. The neighborhood has direct beach access, a very nice community pool, and it is super quiet. The condo is just a few minutes from the best restaurants as well as to the Village. There is a PS4, DVD players, fun games and books for rainy days and evenings. Justin & Ashley were a delight to rent from...they were quick to respond, super courteous & attentive. They answered every question and made sure we had everything we needed. We rented the condo for a cold & rainy President’s Day weekend so we really enjoyed having a comfortable & cozy condo to hang out in. We will definitely stay here again! I give this condo and owners a 5 star rating!

Seven adults and one toddler stayed at this awesome townhouse for 5 nights. It's exactly as described and a great location. Steps to the pool and the beach. The beach here is great ..... wide , flat sand to walk or bike on . Tidal pools form at low tide which make it absolutely perfect for kids. They had umbrellas and chairs that we could use as well. The bedrooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated as was the rest of the home. The kitchen had everything you need to cook at home or if you decide to go out there are great restaurants within walking distance. And the best part was Justin, the owner! I've rented 18 homes in the past 3 years and he is by far the most responsive and helpful vacation rental owner that I have encountered. Prompt ! and goes the extra mile. Not only did he answers numerous email questions but I made reservations for a trolley tour and never received confirmation from them., nor could i get a response. Justin contacted them and handled it for us ! The outside look of this place is a bit deceiving ... a bit plain but dont let that deter you ... I almost passed it up and so glad I did not .The location and area is beautiful. Perfect home!!!!!

Very pleased overall

This property is well maintained and full of amenities. The owner has a fully stocked kitchen and also made accessible to us beach items such as good chairs, cart and cooler. This was wonderful since we flew into st simons which saved us having to buy these items. The bedrooms had good quality linens and had plenty of above average towels. Very nicely decorated and did not have a “tired” feel. Great quality comfortable furniture. Plenty of TV’s, games, books and a video game system. Owner answered promptly questions we had. Easy access to property. Safe and in a good location. Beach access is very good. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent beach condo

We had an amazing stay at the condo. Super clean, lots of space for our family/extended family. Beach access was super close for the condo door. Great pool for the kids to play in. Host was very nice, attentive and easily accessible. Easy instructions for check-in/check -out. Everything labeled. We definitely would love to stay here again.
