Thanks for checking out my home in Southwest Harbor! I relocated from Pennsylvania to Maine after falling in love with Acadia National Park. The best parts of Maine are the rugged rocky coast, the smell of the salt air combined with the forests of balsam pine. We also have some great local food with lobster (of course!), blueberries and beer.
As an avid traveler for both fun and work, I’ve visited 49 of 50 states (see you soon Alaska!) and probably the same number of countries. I started working with vacation rentals after a visit to a charming Caribbean cabin on the island of Carriacou, which is part of Grenada. I love hiking and recently completed a hike to 17600 feet or 5560m to Everest Base Camp in Nepal. My vacations usually involve some aspect of hiking .

Why they chose this property
This is a lovely small house that is convenient to everything on the island. It’s is located in town but due to the setback from the road, it has a very private feel.
