The resort is perfectly spaced between peak 9 and a lift that takes you to peak 8. The room was spacious and clean and the hotel management was very attentive and provided anything we needed, we just sent them a text. Bill and Judy were amazing hosts. Their communication was above and beyond what I’ve experienced from other hosts in the past, and provided great information and tips on the area and the property.

Alyson, thanks for the excellent review. We appreciate it, and are glad to hear that the GTL staff were up to what we've been accustomed to over the past years. You sure picked a great snow year - which is continuing as we head toward spring.
Sincerely, Bill & Judy
Great property. On call shuttle to downtown. Walk or ski to lifts. Hot tubs. Boot saloon. We enjoyed the movie rooms. Watched Cars3 and Ferris Burller Day off with kids. Took a day trip to Vail. Other than that, car did not move. No hidden fees. Even the robes were Complimentary (need to ask for them) during stay.
Host communication was great! Recommend calling GTL a week before to confirm VRBO reservation. They were a little confused during check in, but it was squared away in 5 minutes.

About the host
Hosted by Bill & Judy
We are retired, living in Boulder, CO, and enjoy Breckenridge often. Although we no longer downhill ski, we love the town and the great trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. In the warmer months, it's a great place for bicycling and hiking. We travel regularly to Europe to enjoy hiking in the Alps and Dolomites. We are avid hikers and cyclists when home.
Why they chose this property
GTL is a great location - on the mountain, away from the crowds, but walking distance to town. Breckenridge itself provides access for skiing, cross-country, snowshoeing, hiking, bicycling - you name it. A terrific place any time of year, a friendly true historic western town, not just a 'ski village'.
What makes this property unique
Excellent on-site restaurant and lounge. Grand Timber also offers free shuttle service to town and local restaurants, and the town itself offers free buses to anyplace you'd need to go. You can also catch the free Summit Stage if you want to ski at Copper Mountain or Keystone for a day or two.
