We came to Bozeman for hockey. This was convenient, quiet, and comfortable. The kids enjoyed ping pong and adults could sit and chat. We would definitely stay here again!
This was a wonderful property. One of the best VRBO places I have stayed. Host was magnificent. Lots of little extras that made it memorable. Clean, fully stocked kitchen and so organized.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. My family (5) including my parents had more than enough room. We enjoyed the outside patio. Peeking around the corner to see snowcapped peaks was amazing! If I come back to Bozeman I would stay here again.
Property was very clean and very comfortable for our group. Beautiful inside and outside space. Great owner response to questions. Would definitely book again.

Thanks for the great review!! Please do come back; Try June, the gardens are in full bloom then! Enjoy the rest of your summer!
By far one of the nicest places I've stayed at. Everything was so organized and clean and the check-in and check out process was simple and contact less. All the amenities you ever wanted and the hosts were so responsive. Definitely would come back here if ever in the area again!

Thank you so much Joshua! Glad you had a great time here! :)
The house was extremely spacious, clean, and well equipped. The hosts welcomed us to not only the house but also to their beautiful yard which included a grill, fire pit, and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the sunrise over the mountains.
We came to ski! It was a great property with a lot of room for three kiddos. The game room was a lot of fun! Beds were comfy, clean and easy to relax in. A lot of extras added to this property, wine & candy, blankets, games, pamphlets, necessities, washer, dryer, dishwasher and open spaces that gave you room to move around. This property is located in Belgrade so it was a bit of a hike to Bozeman and Bridger Bowl but it worked out ok. Thank you for a wonderful visit!
Lots of space for two people. Spotless clean and stays nice and cool even on hot summer days.
Personal touches upon our arrival such as complimentary wine as well as local Bozeman taffy of different flavors.
We had free use of a great patio and a big and well-maintained grass yard which we used for exercising.
The property manager checked in a few times during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being awesome guests and for the great review! :)
Sandy was very excellent with communication and her and her husband Troy go above and beyond. The accommodations were so homie. We all enjoyed the games and the property is easy to access. It is convenient to get anywhere. Everything is very clean and organized. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking in. The open layout allows everyone to do their thing, but still socialize. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to return in the future.

Thank you so much for the great review!! So glad you liked the place😊
The property is meticulously cared for. The location was perfect for us, as we didn't want to be right in town to avoid dealing with constant parking or lack thereof but we wanted to be close enough to enjoy the convenience of restaurants and shopping. Right down the street from the Hot Springs in Bozeman and close to our favorite shopping spot, Simms. We were also able to get to Big Sky and the Gallatin for the best fly fishing and most scenery we could have asked for.
The unit was spacious, with large bedrooms, a living room, and game room. The kitchen had everything you need, down to a welcome bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. It was spotless and the laundry was great to have.
Troy and Sandy also allowed us to store our bikes in the garage which was much appreciated.
Troy and Sandy were great hosts, very accommodating and helpful, and nice. Dropping my son at college was a breeze and we loved our stay in Montana. We'll be back as soon as we can get there.

Disappointing stay due to noise
This rental is in a basement - expect little natural lighting, a musty smell and considerable noise from above (during the day and up to 11:30pm at night). Very disappointing as I specifically inquired about the noise level twice - once while in the booking process and once a few days before we arrived. The owner assured me any noise was "barely audible". We ended up leaving a day/night early as a result of this and the owner would not even consider refunding us for that night. I'd suggest looking elsewhere if you value quiet, rest and relaxation on vacation. If the owner had handled this situation differently, I would've given the hideaway a much higher review as Sandy really does put a lot of effort into providing a clean, organized space for her guests. Bummer.

We expected a poor review from this guest, given (1) two days prior to check in, she requested a 100% refund, which violated the terms of her Vacation Rental Agreement, and (2) checked out one day eary, claiming the place is unsatisfactory, and wanting a refund, which again is another violation to the terms of the Agreement she signed. What she didn't say in this review, is she knew this was a basement at the time of book. Also, as she told me in person the morning after check in, is they were already planning to leave early and in fact had already changed their flights. This is after we tip-toed and spoke in whispers the night before. This family had been traveling for quite a while, bouncing from VRBO to VRBO, and I suspect other owners have been poorly reviewed in her wake as well. We have hosted over 50 bookings since opening in 2019 and have never had a complaint for any of the concerns she listed; the other reviews speak for themselves. Her exaggerations sadly misrepresent this rental. Three pieces of advice to this guest: given her special sensitivities, don't book basement apartments; Purchase Trip Insurance (a clear recommendation on both our VRBO listing and our Vacation Rental Agreement); and finally, honor your Agreements. Giving a poor review when not getting her way appears immature and manipulative.

Quality Touches Paired with Welcoming Comfort!
"Wonderful property with great hosts! Troy and Sandy have thought of everything! We enjoyed the open floor plan and were surprised by how often the extra half bathroom came in handy. (Surprising since there are 2 1/2 bathrooms and we only had five individuals using the bathrooms.) A well organized binder included a wealth of helpful information about the property and the surrounding area. Restrooms were well stocked with everything one would need. The linens were so soft and comfy and the beds were equally comfortable. We slept great! The internet, TV, books, cards, dice, and an abundance of games provided lots of opportunities for entertainment. Not to mention the ping pong and foosball tables! The beautiful kitchen had a bi-level counter and was fully stocked with a wide range of cooking tools. Everything in the kitchen was well labeled making it easy to find whatever we needed. Bottles of water, granola bars, packages of nuts, biscotti, huckleberry taffy, and locally made world-class sea salt caramels were all provided and were very much appreciated. Totally impressive! You will enjoy your time at this amazing hideaway!

Thank you so much for staying with us! Thank you also for the great review, glad you liked the place and you are always welcome! :)
Let me tell you right off the bat that this review is going to be five stars. You can stop now or you can read on to find out why.
The setup: My wife and I flew into Bozeman to visit with my son, his wife and our two young grandkids. Our other son flew in with his significant other and stayed with us at River Country Hideaway.
The Hideaway, a country property, is a skip and a jump and maybe another skip from the airport. It is easy to find and is as peaceful as you could ask for yet is not far from State Highway 85 and I 90. It's a winning combination because you get a nice bucolic setting for your down time combined to easy access to everywhere you could want to go.
The Hideaway's claim of centralized locality is certainly justified. We are big on hiking and were 20 minutes from the Bridger Mountains trailheads and 30 from the Gallatin Mountains
trailheads while only 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman. The west entrance to Yellowstone is an hour and a half away but the landscape is so stunning and the park so deservedly iconic it's definitely worth the drive.
As to the accommodations themselves: there are two ensuite bedrooms and a public area half bath. It's a really nice setup when you have a large gathering and nicely private during quiet times. The apartment is a well appointed finished basement. Plenty of elbow room for a crowd and the open floor plan allows communication while avoiding the problem of everyone congregating in a single space.
And let me tell you it is accessorized and organized. I couldn't think a single thing that I would need or want for our stay that wasn't available. I'm talking kitchen, bathroom, laundry facility, entertainment, ad nauseam. Every cupboard and drawer is labeled. You need something? Just read the labels. It's in there, I guarantee it. We travel a lot and I have run into only a couple of BnB's as well and thoughtfully stocked as this one.
On the other points of concern that I usually have with BnB's: the entry protocol was easy and communications with the hosts were clear and timely. The place is most certainly clean, the beds are comfortable and the furnishings well placed. It is neither under or over appointed. So, as you can see, it's five stars from me.

Gerry! What a great review! Thank you so much, we are SO glad you all enjoyed the place and you are welcome back anytime!! Enjoy the rest of your summer :)
We booked a Christmas trip to visit our kiddo that lives in a small college apartment near the MSU campus. Everything from initial booking to pre-arrival communication was great. Our hosts made sure everything was perfect for our arrival including a fully decorated Christmas tree and holiday inspired decorations! Sandy & Troy are amazing hosts and people! The property is clean, safe, and conveniently located near the airport and interstate. Book with confidence. We will be back to visit for sure!
The property was cozy and plenty of space for all the family. We were surprised by a beautiful Christmas tree. We didn't venture outside much, it was a very cold weekend in Montana. Sandy was very nice. We managed to lock ourselves out of the property and Sandy was quick to respond. Overall great space for family gatherings
From the complimentary toiletries and bottle of wine to the sound machines in the bedrooms, these hosts provided everything we needed and then some. The property was so clean that I would’ve eaten off the floor! (Except that I didn’t want to get the floor dirty..)
The property was clean, spacious and well thought out. Property manager was great and correspondence was perfect. We would love to come back for another trip! This was a great visit. Thank you!
The place was very well kept, clean, and fully stocked with everything from stamps to kitchen supplies. Owners were very nice and helpful. It was a great location to explore the whole area Of Bozeman from.
I would strongly recommend this location.
We really enjoyed staying in Bozeman. It is easy to find, check-in and out was also. Fully stocked with what you need without having to go out and waste time shopping on a short stay. The games, books and extra touches made us feel comfortable. Kids loved the Ping-Pong and Fuseball table. Would definitely come back again!
We had a wonderful time in Bozeman. Sandy and Troy went above and beyond with thoughtful items and a stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed their warm welcome and beautiful home! Highly recommend their spacious place. Thank you!
Beautifully maintained property. All the comforts of home. A lot of “extras” like a ping pong table and a foos ball table that my husband and our grandson enjoyed playing. Beautiful outside garden to sit in.
We hope to come back here again.
This apartment was spotless, comfortable and homey. Sandy thought of every detail to make guests welcome, including a stocked and labeled kitchen, movies and popcorn, board games for all ages, and ping pong and foosball tables. There was even a desk stocked with Montana cards and stamps to mail them. We were sorry we didn't have time to enjoy their patio area, but it was very pretty with comfy furniture and a grill for guests use.

About the host
Hosted by Troy and Sandy Hall
Born and raised in southwest Montana, Sandy and Troy own and operate a property management company and a plumbing/heating company. They love to recreate in the beautiful mountains and lakes that surround the Bozeman area. When traveling, they choose furnished rentals, and have come to understand what guests would appreciate from their own personal experience. Together they have put together the perfect place for you and your family and friends!
Why they chose this property
Troy originally built this property in 2007, having lived in the Bozeman/Gallatin County area all his life. It was constructed with a full basement; it was the perfect space to turn into a furnished rental!
What makes this property unique
We developed this property with a "resort style" flair, not typical for most vacation rentals in our area. We recently changed to a 30+ day rental option, to accommodate the growing demand for longer-term, furnished properties. This is all designed with you in mind. This is a much better option than a hotel, and you can count on quick responses from the manager. Come stay with us, you'll be glad you did!
