Absolutely beautiful home with amazing views of a working harbor. Walk down the hill and buy lobsters off the dock where they will steam them if you want. A quick note, there is no lid for the lobster pot in the kitchen. Otherwise, the house is very well stocked. We pretty much lived on the deck for the week. The garden is very well maintained and blooming all sorts of colors in early June. Port Clyde is not a real tourist place. Like I said, it’s a working harbor. We got to know some locals and bought lobsters right off the boat. Amazing. Don’t miss a trip to Monhegan Island, the Black Harpoon and the Happy Clam and the Marshall Point Lighthouse. I can’t wait to go back!!!

Thank you for your review and for staying with us! We will look into the lobster pot lid.
This was our first Vrbo rental and we were very impressed with the location and how clean and beautiful the house was. We couldn't have asked for a better location and rental house.

I stayed here with my family of 4. Great location for walks into and around town. Veronika the property manager was very quick to respond to any of my questions. Planning on staying here again!

The property is beautifully maintained and comfortable for 6 adults. We enjoyed a perfect fall week, with views of the active harbor, walks, and day-trips to explore the area. We return every year to enjoy the beauty of Port Clyde and the surrounding areas - nothing like it!

The property and home were lovely, well appointed, quality furnishings (especially the kitchen - wonderful!). Being close to a busy, working harbor, we expected it to be noisy at times and it indeed is. Lobstermen going out in the very early hours with loud trucks and boats, and loud voices - sound carries across the water. Just be prepared for that. Otherwise, it makes for an amazing place to sit and watch the activity and enjoy what the Maine coast has to offer. Our only hiccup was the grill. There was so much debris and grease left in the grill that it became fully engulfed in flames while we were cooking and had to be extinguished. No harm done to us, just the food, but the grill was left to us in a filthy state. Grates were clean, but the grease and build up inside was too much and each side table were covered with dirt and grease. We got a quick response from managment for a new extinguisher and a gentleman then cleaned out the grease, but we still had to clean the filthy steel side counters in order to put anything on them. Also, checkout instructions were a bit much. For the price we paid (in high season seems to be double that of low season), I don't expect such a detailed list of housekeeping items. The house is truly lovely, but the rate is rather expensive in our opinion.

Thank you for your review and for staying with us. And thank you for bringing your concerns regarding the grill to our attention.
The house is spectacular, this was at least our fourth time renting it....brand new with the best kitchen and cooking implements; the view is one of the best from any house in Maine of a working harbor that is stunning and always has activity.

Nicest house we've ever rented in Maine. Beautifully laid out with high quality furniture, bedding, kitchen wares and tasteful, original art. It's a premium product in a lovely spot. The wrap-around deck, spacious lawn, and meticulously maintained garden are icing on the cake. We had a great time and already booked a repeat visit in 2025.

See you next year!
Our family spent a glorious week in this wonderful home. The cleanest, best stocked home we have ever rented. Walk to the ferry, general store and a short drive to the local beach. We fished from the pier every day and you can buy fresh lobsters from the harbor across the street. We were so sad to leave and will definitely rent from Linda Bean Vacations again.

We spent a relaxing week enjoying this beautiful home and didn’t want to leave. The panoramic view, loads of windows, comfortable furniture and beautiful artwork are just a few of the things that make this an extra special house. Each day, our dog was anxious to explore the area and sit on the deck with us. Looking forward to returning!!!

Veronika Carlson and Linda Bean’s Perfect Maine Vacation Rentals are wonderful. They have several properties on the Maine Coast, Port Clyde area. We have stayed in three over the past year or so, with absolutely no complaints. They know the business and are responsive to all needs and requests.

Great location, great outdoor space, easy access to house's boathouse/dock to kayak daily and great set up to cook at home with professional quality pans/knives/stove. Easy walk to town to Wyeth gallery, coffee shop, ice cream store and great daily tours by lobster boat offered by Wyeth gallery on Wyeth art. Wonderful!

We had a gorgeous week of August weather and enjoyed the views. Nice location, near town. Overall we felt the property was overpriced. Relatively small rooms. No good access to ocean for swimming or boating. Kitchen appliances need replacement. Have been coming to Port Clyde for 30 years, disappointed the general Store not rebuilt. If you are looking for gorgeous views and a near to town location and the price doesn’t give you pause, this property is good

Thank you for your review and for staying with us. I’m sorry you feel the property was overpriced. We feel the rental description is accurate, along with the photos. We do not advertise ocean access for swimming or boating. The kitchen appliances are relatively new and are good quality, but I will have our maintenance review per your concerns.
We stayed at 8 Raspberry Lane for 1 month (June to July) to escape the city and could not have loved it more! The house is beautifully appointed with every amenity you could need for a quiet getaway or a dinner party! The house is basically right on the water with its own garden and beautiful views of Port Clyde - a sweet fishing town with waterfront dining, hiking, and a nearby beach. Veronika was a great, responsive host who answered our queries without delay. We will definitely be returning!
