Relaxing stay for 60th Birthday Weekend

The property was ideal for hosting our 60th Birthday Weekend. We wanted a space where all the kids and their partners could come together and celebrate with us - this property allowed for just that. Having two separate living spaces allowed for 'time out', having two kitchens meant catering was easy. Local eateries were very accommodating and the beach walks just lovely.

Peaceful and spacious rainforest location

Peaceful location set in rainforest surrounds. A spacious house that comfortably fit our two families (five adults, four kids and two dogs). Owner was amazing with communication, prompt, friendly and informative. Mattresses on beds were a little well loved but we had a ball and there were tears on departure! Thank you for an overall brilliant stay.

Tranquil bush by the beach

Spent a wonderful weekend here for my partners birthday. Close to the launch for our fishing charters and plenty of close by attractions for those not fishing. Owners were lovely and accomodating and quick to reply. House and surrounding grounds were beautifully appointed and left everyone feeling relaxed. House is slightly older and could use some touch ups but nothing that impacted our stay. Thank you!

Mental Health Retreat

It was amazing, we had ten of us staying and there was no shortage of space.Love the architecture of the house with all the different exposed timber. Loved the rainforest outlook and seclusion. Shops only a 5 minute drive down the road.Say Gday to Rowdy the super friendly neighbourhood staffy. Only negative is lots of mosquitoes. (We where there in February and it was extremely humid)

Big spacious house in rainforest surrounds

We were a family group of 12 and had the whole house which was more than enough room. The house is very spacious - big living areas meant that everyone had personal space. Full size pool table to keep the grown ups busy and each TV had a good selection of DVD's if you wanted to watch movies. Kitchen in the bottom level was a big area to move and work in. Each room has ceiling fans which was needed in the Christmas/New Year week as it was very warm and humid and the house is not air conditioned. Being a wet week in a rainforest environment, the mosquitos were rife - however there was some insect repellant provided if you didn't bring your own - had to expect some mozzies in a rainforest! The house was generally clean and tidy - we had an issue with the bins not being emptied however the owners were onto it with council and out of their control being the week between Xmas & New Year. They communicated well and tried their best to rectify. The BBQ's need a good clean - and the laundry could do with dryer as well as the washer. Note that both showers in the house are located in a spa bath - for those with mobility challenges this could be a concern. Some of the kitchen items (wine glasses etc) needs a review and replacement. Overall, we had a good time being together, the house was spacious to accomodate all of us with enough beds to suit. Happy New Year and Thanks for having us!

Large house in private location

The property is a little out of town but this is offset by its private location. The well equipped kitchens make catering for your guests a breeze. The beds are comfortable.
