The 220 year old house is very typical of Beaujolais mansions.
In stone gilded it is very characteristic of the village of Charnay in Beaujolais (1000 inhabitants, and 400 m of altitude)
It has a ground floor and two floors, plus a bar in the basement.
At the heart of the village, the house completely restored in 2014, of 295 m2 includes a large living room with fireplace, modern kitchen, TV lounge with sofa, 4 bedrooms each with bathroom and toilet, a toilet independent toilet, a large lounge / playroom, summer kitchen.
The exposure EST, SOUTH, WEST gives a great clarity, and a panoramic panoramic sight on the Beaujolais and the valley of the Saone.
The park completely enclosed by walls, is very quiet and allows a pleasant rest.
It has a small pool
Charnay en Beaujolais is located 2 km from Lyon and 12 from Villefranche sur Saone; and Beaujeu 20, capital of Beaujolais wines.
The beautiful valley of the AZERGUES goes up to the Col des Echarmeaux 4 km through pine forests to over 1000 meters of altitude.

Wonderful family time
This 200 year old home accommodated 9 family members superbly. The home is situated on a hillside looking over multiple vineyards.
We felt we needed to wipe down counters and wash dishes.
It was advertised as having internet included, however there was no internet.
Despite these deficiencies, we spent a wonderful month in Charnay.

Het uitzicht is het mooiste van het geheel
Het verblijf in het grote huis was prima. Goede bedden, goede douche en een prachtig uitzicht.Verbeterpunt is het toegangshek voor de auto, want die weigert bij regen.
