Welcome to Montauroux, perched village between sea and mountains of eastern Var.

Beautiful sunshine all year round, the charm of Provence and close to all the activities in a calm and preserved environment.

5 minutes from Lake Saint Cassian 450 hectares (boating and fishing) and 25 minutes from the beaches of Cannes and Frejus / Saint Raphaël / 20 'world capital of Grasse perfume / 45 minutes from Nice / 1h 15 from Italy and Mercantour Park.

Charm abounds

Rental and owner charming and delightful, could not recommend more !!! Even games and books for little ones in a little niche area, so nice !!! Just be wary that access to home is a bit steep.

Charming Gite

We enjoyed our stay at Martine and Olivier's gite which was very well-equipped and nicely furnished, very clean and tidy with lovely views over the surrounding wooded hills. Montauroux is a very pretty hilltop town, a little larger than expected with a more modern built-up main road at its foot (very useful for supermarkets, garages, shops etc.) The walk to the old town from the gite was very steep (uphill), something not mentioned in the description and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Also the approach by road was first of all steeply uphill and then steeply downhill necessitating 1st gear for the latter. Also the pathway from the parking area to the gite was narrow and down steps. Martine and Olivier were very friendly and helpful in all aspects of our stay. The above comments should in no way reflect on them. Note that the description in English on the HomeAway website describes the gite as a detached cottage but it is an annexe to the main house and not detached.

Ein wunderbar gelegenes Haus mit allem was man für einen unbeschwerten Urlaub braucht. Es gibt einen sehr schönern, sauberen und super großen Pool. Haben wir jeden Tag ausgiebig genutzt. Martine und Olivier sind sehr herzliche und hilfreiche Gastgeber, check in persönlich und mit vielen Tipps. Die Gegend mit den zauberhaften Dörfern und schönster Natur ist sowieso eine Reise wert.Wir haben unsere Woche hier sehr genossen.

Altes Steinhaus in Frankreich wie man es sich erträumt. Ausstattung war überdurchschnittlich. Die Küche hatte alles, was man braucht und darüber hinaus wie Salz, Alufolie, Backpapier, etc. Für unser Baby gab es neben dem Babybett sogar eine Babywippe und eine Wickelunterlage, was ungemein hilfreich war und wir gar nicht erwartet haben. Für unser Kleinkind gab es einen Hochstuhl und sogar einen Toilettensitz.Die Kommunikation mit Martine war super. Sie war immer über WhatsApp erreichbar.Außenbereich war sehr schön mit Pool, Spielplatz und Trampolin. Den Zugang zum Pool konnte man durch ein Tor verriegeln. Draußen sind leider viele Mücken, daher nur mit Mückenschutz möglich. Im Schlafbereich gab es allerdings sogar Moskitonetze über jedem Bett, was vor allem für die Kinder sehr hilfreich war.Zugang zum Ferienhaus verläuft über eine schmale, sehr steile Straße. Nach ein paar Mal Fahren gewöhnt man sich aber dran. ;)Martine und Olivier haben einen Hund, der aber ganz lieb und ruhig ist. Er hat uns ab und zu neugierig begrüßt. Die Lage ist schön zentral, Ausflugziele waren innerhalb von maximal einer halben Stunde möglich. Großer Einkaufsladen, Tankstelle und Bäcker ist 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt.War ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit tollen Gastgebern. Können wir nur empfehlen!

Tout était parfait !Le gîte est beau, paisible, confortable, tout est mis en œuvre pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. Les propriétaires savent recevoir, qui plus est ils partagent de bons conseils pour visiter la région, leurs astuces sont vraiment judicieuses.Nous avons plus qu'apprécier notre séjour qui fut génial, la disponibilité et la sympathie des hôtes, ainsi que la maison et le jardin qui sont encore plus jolis que sur les photos.Encore merci !

Erholung pur

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Martine und Olivier sehr genossen! Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man braucht und der Garten und die Terrasse sind ein Traum. Die Lage bietet eine wunderschöne Aussicht und verspricht Ruhe und Erholung. Aber auch für Kinder sind genügend Angebote vorhanden. Tischtennis, Trampolin oder Pool ... unsere Kinder waren happy. In einer halben Stunde erreicht man tolle Strände. Martine und Olivier waren sehr gastfreundlich und haben viele wertvolle Tipps für Unternehmungen parat gehabt. Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub, an den wir uns noch lange erinnern werden.

Einfach toll!

Wir waren Ende März in Les Geckos. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und überaus hilfsbereit. Als unser Auto einen Platten hatte, taten sie alles in ihrer Macht stehende, um uns zu helfen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und der Ausblick von der Terrasse unvergleichbar schön. Auch die Ausflugstipps der Vermieter sind empfehlenswert. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Perfekter Urlaub

Wir hatten zu fünft zwei wunderschöne Wochen im Haus von Martine. Es ist genauso schön wie es auf den Bildern gezeigt wird. Martine und ihre Familie ist zauberhaft, zurückhaltend und wunderbare Gastgeber. Die Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur Urlaubsgestaltung. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt und waren rundum zufrieden und begeistert.

Tolle Unterkunft

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft sehr genossen! Besonders der liebevoll angelegte Garten und die Vermieter Martine und Olivier, die sehr gastfreundlich waren und uns interessante Ausflugstipps gegeben haben, waren toll. Relax in mezzo al verde della Procenza

Ci siamo veramente riposati e potendo utilizzare piscina, tavolo da ping-pong e pista da boccia, anche i ragazzi si sono divertiti. Inoltre ci sono diverse sdraio anche fuori e quindi abbiamo letto molto all’aria aperta. Martine Olivier ci hanno dato informazioni sui dintorni e fatto assaggiare ottimi prodotti fatti in casa:-). La casetta non è grande, ma ha tutto ciò che serve anche per potersi preparare un buon pranzetto. Il mio posto preferito in assoluto è sotto la tettoia davanti alla porta!!! Da tutti i lati arriva il profumo della natura in fiore:-). Attenzione solo un po’ agli ultimi 50 metri di strada! È molto ripida, ma ben asfaltata. Basta andare piano senza far slittare le ruote.
