The coustou refuge

Want to cocoon and beautiful walks?
Traditional family house with a breathtaking view of the couserans mountains, the coustou refuge, renovated with passion, welcomes you in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees regional natural park, for stays of a week or more.

On several levels, you have a large living room very openwork with a glass stove at your disposal, very pleasant for an evening by the fire, a modern and equipped kitchen with a breathtaking view of the mountains and open to the garden . The bedrooms: one bedroom with double bed and electric box springs in the old
barn with its cob wall, a dormitory with 4 single wooden beds, a large bedroom with a superb balcony and two double beds, a large bathroom, separate WC. The house enjoys the sun all day.


The whole of the accommodation is accessible as well as the gardens, an essential place to live in the shade of the lime tree for a quiet lunch, to admire the view or to play with the family.

In the garden you have at your disposal a barbecue, a garden furniture, deckchairs and a large table with its chairs and parasol.


We are at your disposal for any questions about your stay or for outdoor activities.
A person on site in the village can intervene if necessary.

The refuge is located on the heights of the village of Castillon en Couserans, on the hiking path which leads to the Saint-Pierre church, chapel of the Calvary which dominates the village. The shops and the village center can be reached in a few minutes on foot.

You will also have all the facilities like dishwasher, washing machine, TV, wifi, oven, induction hob, microwave, stove, heating, bath, walk-in shower, garden furniture, barbecue, wood for the stove glazed for your outbreaks (for a fee).
