About this property

Magnificent Périgord house with its lauze roof

Ideally located in black Périgord, in the heart of the valley of the four castles, the hamlet of Saint-Julien is a haven of tranquility, accessible by a dead end road. It overlooks the Dordogne valley, facing the magnificent Marqueyssac cliffs, the Castelnaud-la-Chapelle castle and the listed village of La Roque-Gageac.

At the entrance to the hamlet, a 16th century stone house with a slate roof overlooks a garden on several levels. Its fully preserved traditional architecture, its antique furniture and its rare location give this house a special charm.

Completely renovated, the house, easily accommodating 6 people, has all the comforts, a large garden and a beautiful private swimming pool. In any season, for an active or pure relaxation stay, it will satisfy heritage lovers and nature enthusiasts.

The 200 m² house has 3 spacious bedrooms with their respective bathrooms: the red bedroom, the orange bedroom and the honey bedroom. The TV lounge, giving access to the red bedroom, equipped with a comfortable sofa bed, can be used to accommodate one or two children.
The house also has a living room with a large open fire, an equipped kitchen, 4 toilets and a cellar.

A garden on several levels and a large private heated swimming pool (6 x 12 m) located below the house allow you to enjoy the remarkable view and the absolute tranquility of the site. These different levels can be dangerous for boisterous children.

Overlooking the garden, the views of the Dordogne valley and the Marqueyssac cliffs are majestic all year round.

Garden table with chairs, sun loungers and pool loungers are also available to fully enjoy the garden, the view, the tranquility.
