Your Muskoka family vacation awaits. This gorgeous 6 bedroom, 4 full & 2 half bath cottage is the perfect spot for your family to get away. Elegantly decorated with all the luxury amenities and located directly on the lake (southerly facing), with beautifully landscaped grounds that slope down to the waterfront. Paddleboards and other popular equipment awaits you at the shore, and an outdoor firepit with Muskoka chairs overlooks the lake where you can make smores and take in natures beauty.

Boat Rentals | You can rent boats from Huntsville Marine. They offer a 5% discount to our guests, you just need to show them proof of your stay with us. You can dock the boat at our cottage for the day as needed. https://www.huntsvillemarine.com/

Bike or Water Equipment Rentals | One of the best places we can think of is Algonquin Outfitters, they have some cool stuff, and their store is pretty fun to look through too! https://algonquinoutfitters.com/

Located on a private road, with a horse farm on the North side of the cottage, and Fairy lake on the South side of the cottage. There are other cottagers on this road as well, so although this is a large double lot, excessive noise and parties will not be tolerated to respect the neighbours that live here full time.

Beautiful cottage with lots of bedrooms. We used 4 bedrooms and each had its own private bath. Fairy Lake is lovely, and this cottage is very close to Huntsville.

Stayed for four days over December holidays with family who were visiting from abroad. The cottage was amazing. We had everything we needed, and the host even made sure we had holiday decorations which were absolutely beautiful. Even with lots if snow we had no trouble driving to the rural location with AWD SUV. Can’t say enough good things — just excellent all round. We will definitely be looking to book another stay in warmer month to experience that too, if we can.

Wonderful stay

This property was beautiful, spacious, and homey. Our kids enjoyed playing pool, foosball, and a number of the board games available. It was also very nice that there was a canoe and two kayaks available to use. We would definitely want to stay there again.

Great secluded cottage!

Loved how secluded this cottage was while at the same time so close to Huntsville and not far from Algonguin Park. There were seven of us in our group, and it was great to have plenty of space for all of us to spread out. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay to never have to order out!

Just amazing

This was such a great family-friendly, pet-friendly place. We gifted this to our 3 daughters, their husbands, and our 2 grandsons (age 3 and 10 months). This was in lieu of gifts at Christmas. We ALL loved it, the big kitchen space, all the cozy bedrooms and the games room in the lower level. We will be back for sure. Thank you SO much.

Summer vacation on the lake

We stayed at this lovely house for a week with our 4 teenagers and 4 more of their friends ranging feom 14 years old to 19 y/o. The house is just lovely and we had an amazing week. The kids loved the lake which we swam, paddleboarded, kayaked and rented a pontoon boat to fully enjoy. The water was not too cold (from north carolina I worried about this!) And we were in it every day. The house is clean and comfortable but also homey and I loved the history of it being in the family for generations--it has that warmth to it. Downtown historic Huntsville was a hit and the kids enjoyed the shops there immensely. We daytripped to Parry Sound which was beautiful and has a walking trail around it. So much to see and do that we literally could have used a month to explore everything. Fairy Lake IS magical. James was a kind and communicative host. It is a lovely experience if you can get there!

We absolutely loved our stay. While the photos were amazing, the place was even better than we imagined. The cottage was so spacious and very well outfitted. The downstairs rec room was a hoot and had something for everyone. James was a phenomenal host, was always available and a pleasure to chat with. Already looking to rebook! :)

Luxurious getaway was beyond our expectations

Fabulous home and location with stunning views of the lake on one side and beautiful and serene pastures on the other. Can't say enough about the house, location or host. Highly recommend (which I may regret if it is never available to rent again)!

Would Give It 6 Stars If I Could!

The property is exactly as advertised - cozy lakefront home with lots of space for the family. We were travelling with toddlers and a young child, and having cribs, high chairs, and toys available made packing so much easier. The espresso machine didn't hurt either! We have stayed at many cottages before, and this was by far one of our best experiences, mostly because James did everything he could to help make our experience excellent, and we could tell by little things how important it was to him that his guests enjoyed their stays. Thank you so much for a lovely time and for the exceptional hospitality!

Family owned and operated. Our grandparents Harvey and Norine bought this property about 100 years ago and built a wood cabin with nothing but hand tools. Three generations later the new cottage was built again.... by family.

Boat operators, car enthusiasts, snowmobilers and cyclists will all love the close proximity of this property to town and all of the areas attractions!!! You're only minutes by car to town!

What makes this property unique

Property is situated on Fairy Lake which is connected directly to town of Huntsville also to Mary Lake, Penn Lake, and Vernon Lake, so there is no end to where you can go by boat or snowmobile!

You will love the sounds of the loons, seeing the beautiful deer in the farmers field, and the serenity of resting by the lake.
