Enjoyed our stay. The place is great. The place was well furnished and the quality of the furnishings, except for the ping pong table, was good The last few miles of road up to the place is very windy and narrow, but that was made clear up front.

Thank you for staying with Carolina Mornings at Whitetail Lodge! We appreciate your enjoyment of some of the amenities provided by the property like the hot tub and ping pong. We await your next book again with us!
This cabin is a beautiful retreat with stunning mountain views, updated furnishings, and tasteful décor. It was well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We also were happy that we could bring our pup with us as well. The slightly remote location provides a peaceful setting and breathtaking scenery. The only challenge was the driveway, which is steep and can be difficult to navigate due to the gravel stones. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended, especially in inclement weather.

Hey Sharon,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words about Whitetail Lodge! We're thrilled you and your pup enjoyed the mountain views and found everything you needed for a relaxing getaway. We truly appreciate your feedback about the driveway and completely understand your point. We do recommend four-wheel-drive or high-clearance vehicles for guests, especially during winter or wet conditions, and we'll make sure this is even more prominently featured in our listing to help future guests prepare accordingly. We hope to welcome you back soon for another wonderful mountain retreat!
