About this property

Charming guest house walking distance to all that downtown St Augustine has to offer. Built in 2017, this one bedroom, one bath, 500 SF apartment is located above our garage to accommodate guests in their own private setting. This property is an easy walk to both Uptown and Downtown St Augustine attractions. There are many restaurants just a short walk away including River and Fort, Raintree, Juniper Market, Borillo s pizza, Luli s cupcakes, and Mojos BBQ just to name a few.
This property includes a king size bed, 12 foot ceilings, ceiling fans, central heat & air, endless hot water on demand, 2 large screen smart TVs and high speed WIFI (download speed over 400mbps).
Enjoy your own private entry to this upstairs apartment (approx 20 steps) with reserved, on site parking. This property does not have cable TV. The smart TVs have antenna reception which provides a hi def picture and receives all the major networks.
The kitchen does not include a range. There is a built in microwave, toaster oven and a griddle.
Downtown St. Augustine is best navigated on foot. Bicycles are not recommended as there are no safe provisions made for them on the roads or sidewalks.

Uptown Shack

Great location, super clean and comfortable! Host thought of small touches, like cold drinks in fridge and fresh baked cookies. Wonderful stay and definitely would choose to stay here again on our next visit!

Great getaway in Saint Augustine

We really enjoyed this neat little apartment. It was clean and new, the owners were very welcoming, and it was an easy walk to all of the fun things to do in Saint Augustine.

Great stay at the Uptown Shack!!! Beautiful and clean property. Everything was absolutely perfect!! Melody and Ali were great host!! They had everything and more that was needed for our stay. Best location and easy walk to Uptown and Historic Downtown. We had a great week and hope to visit again. Thanks Melody and Ali!!!

Don’t Pass This One Up!

Everything was perfect. The owners created an oasis with a lot of beautiful details throughout the unit. Nice location and owners very responsive. St. Augustine is a great place to visit. Would definitely go back if our travels take us there again.

We are locals born/raised in this area. We purchased the main home in 2007 and did an extensive renovation which took 2 years. In 2017 we added a brand new garage with guest house above which is our special rental that was built to host friends and family.

Why they chose this property

2017 new build with all the charm to match our circa 1906 bungalow in downtown St Augustine. All the modern comforts of new construction near the heart of downtown.
