Wonderful in every way

First, the house itself is extremely comfortable, practical and lovely. The property manager was excellent. Second, the location. The village of COTIGNAC is a true gem. It has a wonderful mix of cafes, shops and galleries. The are several wineries close that are both fun to visit and great source of great wine. This is THE place!

Perfect Provencal stay

We - four adults and two dogs - loved the cottage and Cotignac. The cottage is in a secluded cul-de-sac with incredible views of the countryside. It's the best-equipped rental home any of us have stayed in - Marc and Sylvie, who are friendly and kind hosts, have thought of everything (and more!). The way the cottage and the garden are laid out means you can always find a spot to gather or get some peace and quiet - it's bigger than the photos suggest. The pool was pretty cold in May, but usable and wonderfully refreshing after a day walking in the sunshine. It's about a 10-minute walk down a hill to the centre of Cotignac, which is a fantastic little town with plenty of restaurants and shops, and a great market on Tuesdays. It's also a great base for exploring the area (the gorges and lakes in Verdon are a must). We stayed for a week, but it wasn't nearly enough.

Charming cottage

A charming cottage in a quiet location but still fairly close to the centre. Very friendly hosts. The cottage is very well equipped for self catering .....cups , plates, utensils etc. Washing machine, tumble drier and ironing facilities. Also music, tv, books games and toys for entertainment. The garden offers an amazing view of the surrounding area, It has 2 sets of table and chairs outside (along with another 2 inside), sun loungers, 2 bbq's (gas & traditional) a pool, although small ,ideal for a quick dip. Our only negative was that we felt the stairs could benefit from a stair rail as slightly tricky for toddlers or elderly. Never the less still an excellent property and hosts.

Nous avons passé 15 jours à Cotignac. Lieu idéal à 1h20 de la côte et 40 min des gorges du Verdon. De beau paysages à découvrir . Les enfants et les parents ont apprécié la piscine qui été essentielle sous ses 35 degrés. Merci au propriétaire pour les conseils de visite .

Sehr schöne provenzialische Villa in traumhafter Umgebung

Wir - eine kleine Familie mit 2 Kindern (13 und 16) und Hund - verbrachten hier zwei traumhafte Wochen. Das charmante Haus bietet alles was man braucht. Der Außenbereich ist ausreichend groß und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Der Pool lässt sich sehr gut genießen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen viele gute Tips für Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Region. Auch während des Aufenthalts waren die Vermieter jederzeit erreichbar und standen hilfsbereit zu Verfügung. Der Weg in den Ort ist in 10 Minuten gut machbar, wenn auch mit ein paar Höhenmetern. Cotignac ist eine Perle der Provence mit vielen Geschäften, Restaurants und Bars. Uns hat besonders der wöchentliche Markt gefallen. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft und man hat sehr viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge. Die Verdon Schlucht ist sicherlich das größte Highlight, allerdings zu unserer Zeit sehr überlaufen. Wir können den etwas flacheren Teil der Verdons bei Gorges de Baudinard empfehlen. Hier war es auch möglich, kurzfristig ein Boot zu mieten. Die Küste ist in etwas mehr als 1 Stunde auch gut zu erreichen. Wir waren 3 Mal in Pampelonne (traumhaft und mit Hund gut machbar), was ca. 1,5 Stunden gedauert hatte. Aber es gibt auch nähere Möglichkeiten ans Meer zu kommen. Insgesamt ein ausgewogener Urlaub in einem schönen Haus mit einem reizenden Ort und vielen Möglichkeiten für verschiedene Aktivitäten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Ein sehr netter Kontakt zum Vermieter, das Objekt ist trotz Beschreibung nicht so gut zu finden

Sehr schönes Haus in einer schönen Lage, der Fußweg ins Dorf ist anstrengend aber hat uns nicht gestört. Der Pool wurde wöchentlich gewartet und man bekam gute Infos für Ausflüge. Die Gegend ist sehr schön, sehr gutes Infomaterial im Haus. Wir waren in der Verdon Schlucht, Canyoning gemacht und fast täglich im Fluss schwimmen, das wird das Wetter wohl nicht mehr lange zulassen 😒was man unbedingt braucht ist Mückenspray, wir hatten noch zusätzlich Mückenarmbänder, gestochen wurden wir leider trotzdem viel, da kann der Vermieter und das Haus nicht für 😉Es war ein rundum super schöner Urlaub 🌞🍹

Des vacances merveilleuses

Nous nous sommes sentis très, très à l'aise dans la maison de Sylvie et Marc. Le jardin est un peu plus petit que l'impression donnée par les photos, mais il est magnifique. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement sympathiques et aident immédiatement en cas de problème. Cotignac est un village magnifique pour faire des vacances et les environs sont un rêve. Nous y retournerions à tout moment. (traduit avec deepl - désolé pour mon français!)

Top ausgestattetes, gemütliches Ferienhaus in wunderschönem Garten und ruhiger Lage

Das Haus liegt etwa 10 Minuten vom Dorfzentrum entfernt ruhig, sehr sicher und an schöner Aussichtslage. Die Küche ist modern und super ausgestattet, das Wohnzimmer sehr schön und gemütlich und mit 2 Sofas und einer Essecke und Zugang zum grossen Wintergarten mit Platz für einen weiteren Esstisch. Die Doppelzimmer im oberen Geschoss haben eine herrliche Aussicht über die Landschaft und verfügen über sehr komfortable Betten. Das dritte Zimmer ist perfekt für Kinder eingerichtet. Beide Badezimmer sind extrem sauber und verfügen über Badewanne oder Dusche, Toilette sowie Waschbecken. Zu Fuss gelangt man gemütlich ohne Parkplatz-Sorgen ins wunderschöne Dorf zu Restaurants, Geschäften oder Bäckereien. Wir kommen gerne wieder zurück und empfehlen dieses gepflegte Ferienhaus wärmstens.

Un séjour parfait

Tolles Feriendomizil mit kleineren Mängeln

Das Haus liegt wunderbar, ist liebevoll im Detail und prima ausgestattet (v.a. Küche) - und wer frühmorgens Brot (zu Fuß!) holt, hat schon seinen Frühsport hinter sich gebracht. Schwierigkeiten ergaben sich durch die nicht überall funktionierenden Fliegengitter. Haus und Garten sind kompakter als es auf den Bildern erscheint. Fazit: Uns hat es gefallen und wir haben schöne Tage dort verbracht.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La maison est parfaite, nous pouvons aller au village à pied en 10 minutes, ce village est juste magnifique, la remontée est rude mais faisable. Les propriétaires et les accueillants sont vraiment sympathique. Nous y reviendrons !

tolles Haus in schönem Dorf

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlt nichts. Der Garten ist sehr schön. Mit vielen lauschigen Plätzen und Rückzugsorten. Das Dorf Cotignac hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sehr authentisch. Von hier kann man sehr schöne und vielfältige Ausflüge machen. Zum Beispiel zum Lac St. Croix oder ans Mittelmeer.

Villa and pool were fine

Everything was fine at the villa apart from no basic supplies ie.water when we arrived. They knew our arrival time was going to be late 11pm so did expect at least water in the fridge. We left water for the next occupants. Apart from that we had a fantastic time. Great restaurants in the village .

Beautiful and convenient location in a wonderful part of the world

We stayed for 10 days with the number of people ranging from 5 to 7 during that time. The house has all that you need for the number of people. The location has a wide range of activities either through walking or going out for excursions by bike or car. The village has all that you need for self catering, with other larger centres within easy reach. The views from the house are wonderful, the layout lends itself to enjoying these views and there are cooler areas to retreat to if it gets too hot. The pool is just large enough to cope with very hot weather (we had temperatures up to 36 degrees Celsius). The owner is very approachable, and there is a person locally who was available and helpful with settlingin and any questions on a day to day basis.

Maison de vacances

Maison très agréable et fonctionnelle, au calme sans être isolée. A 10mn à pied du centre de Cotignac mais attention, la côte est raide ! Très beau village, bien animé. Grand marché 1 fois par semaine (évitez d'y aller en voiture...). Région magnifique, à 1h de la mer et 1h des Gorges du Verdon. Petite piscine bien appréciée par tous, et barbecue tous les soirs. Salon de jardin à l'ombre des arbres. Les propriétaires et la personne qui nous a accueillis sont très sympathiques.
