Thank you for this wonderful review, and for choosing Wild Dunes Resort! We're thrilled to know that you enjoyed a relaxing stay with us. We look forward to welcoming you back for more soon.
Overall, a great condo! However, we felt that the kitchen was not well stocked with everything needed to cook in. Also, the dryer did not work efficiently. We had to run it a few times to get one load dry. May need to be serviced.
Great location!. Fantatic views of the beach and the sunset from the 3 balconies Just a few steps away from the pool, and a 2-minute walk to the beach. You can hear the soothing sounds of the waves from the master bedroom. The bed was comfortable, and the master shower was great. The kitchen was large, and had all of the cooking utensils and dishes we needed, but as one other traveler mentionned, it was not stocked with any food staples (salt/pepper, spices or even napkins). There is a closet upstairs that had some of that stuff stored in a laundry basket, so you need to look there before heading off to the super market. There is a washer-dryer there, but it is pretty old, and we had to run the dryer several times in order to get our clothes dry. Finally, we had a poor response from the management complany. There is an electrical problem in the unit that prevented the external entry light and the entrance hall lights from working. We called about this a few times, and they sent a couple of people over, but it was never fixed over the 4 days we were there. At night, when trying to get into the unit, I had to use the flashlight function on my cellphone so that I could see the keypad to enter the code because the external entry light wouldn't come on. Hopefully they will get that fixed soon.

David,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad the location, balconies, views, and easy pool/beach access helped make your stay enjoyable — and that the bed and master shower worked well for you.
Thanks for letting us know about the washer/dryer — I passed your note to maintenance and the owner to inspect and, if needed, replace the dryer to ensure it dries properly.
I’m sorry for the frustrating experience with the exterior and entry-hall lighting. Although technicians were sent, the issue should have been resolved during your stay. I’ve escalated this to be addressed by a licensed electrician as a priority, and we’ll review our follow-up procedures so future reports are handled more promptly.
We appreciate your comments and will use them to improve the unit for future guests.
Sincerely,
Wild Dunes Vacations

Great condo at a great beach
This is an understated condo that is very roomy with an amazing view. Lots of natural light, the master bedroom looks over the sunrise. The pictures don't really do it justice. Comfy beds and very clean. This felt more like a hotel than a home, which is fine because I don't feel conscious of breaking someone's personal effects. A few scuffs on the walls and broken window screen were the only cosmetic problems. The only real complaints were that my baby gate didn't really work with the stair rails, and the downstairs bathroom tub drains slow. The beach here was quiet and clean.

Comfortable roomy 2-story unit
2-story, 3 bedroom (2 upstairs) unit on top floor. Large & comfortable. Easy walk to beach and paved path along road. Only problem was the owner of next door to the north was somewhat annoying. Their stereo was heard through the concrete walls. Somewhat limited Hooting and Hollering from the deck was also unpleasant but not excessive. I might understand noise from a rental, but from the owner or owners family? Their black over-sized Ford F150 had a Ship Watch sticker on the windshield. I did pass them on my way to/from the elevator and they did not return my hello. So....if you don't mind an uncaring neighbor and a little noise, the unit was very nice. As for me, I will not be returning. My thoughts of buying a unit at Wild Dunes has now changed. No way will I buy a unit in an association that allows such unpleasantness,
