Great home to make new memories with family. Located in the heart of everything the island has to offer, and host made the experience effortless and comfortable to unwind and relax. Just left and kids already wanting to book it again.

This property was perfect for our first visit to OBX. Restaurants, stores, and beach were all in walking distance. I saw one of the most beautiful sunrises. The house was great for my fur babies and the hangout under the house was great. We were there in August and the breeze the blew under the house was great. The host was very responsive.

The house was on great shape and very clean. Yes it's a sort walk to the beach but it's so close you don't really notice the distance. The host has fully furnished the house and even provided beach items! Overall, a great place.

If you want a nice clean place to stay for your visit. I would highly recommend this place. We walked to beach everyday. It was nice we had 5 adults and 2 kids. It worked out really well. The host is caring and helpful also.

The cottage was a delight! Usually short term rentals have 80’s era leftover decor and furniture but we were delighted to walk in to modern, rustic (our favorite!!) surroundings. The place was clean…nary a bug to be found. The host had literally thought of everything…an ice maker on the counter with “chewy” ice, a sewing kit, games and beach gear. The hike up and over the dune going and coming to beach built up our calf muscles so thank you for that! We especially enjoyed the 2-ply, fancy wavy-perforated toilet paper! We’d recommend this place to anyone…even our mothers ;)

Our family stayed at the beach cottage for a long weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The location is ideal, the house was extremely clean, and made for a wonderful beach getaway! The host was excellent with communication and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Highly recommend!

Host is very responsive and nice. The cottage is very clean. Our son is on oxygen and has breathing problems and we felt good staying there. The AC kept up nicely even in first weeks of July. The beds are okay not the greatest. The walk to the beach is very close but you cannot walk right onto it without a min-2min walk. Overall the place felt like a much better place around the area.

Our trip was last minute. Janelle worked with us through VRBO platform issues!! As for the property, the location is excellent. Its a very short walk from the beach, and we were able to walk to restaurants as well. The house was immaculate, every single detail taken care of. We would definitely be back.

The property was overall good. Yes it had an equipped kitchen. Yes the location was good. Yes it was easy to access. There are several small items which detract from the overall excellent grade. From the sheets that don't fit the beds, the broken latch on the dishwasher, to only having overhead lights in the living room, to a toilet that wiggles. But my main complaint is not one dresser in the place. Even the cheapest motel gives you a dresser to put your belongings in, not shelves. I did enjoy my vacation though as the area has a lot to offer.

This speech cottage has been totally updated very nicely. It has everything you need. It’s a great location and super easy to take a few steps to the beach. The host was really responsive and great.

name... Close Enough!

Just as we said, she's perfectly situated close to the beach on the oceanside so no crossing the beach road. She's located centrally so that means close to all the best shopping and restaurants so you never have to go very far. And she's small but has all the perfect conveniences because we've put everything in place so we too enjoy can her as much as possible!
