About this property

Luxury in the Pines, 5 mins to NAU & 10 mins to downtown

This beautiful newer detached townhome is less than 5 mins from NAU & 10 mins from historic downtown Flag, yet seems like it is in serene seclusion, miles away. The home is in a newer residential community, on a corner lot backing up to Coconino National Forest on two sides. A perfect getaway to just relax and watch the variety of birds and other wildlife that visit the backyard forest or to hike and/or bike the extensive Flagstaff urban trail system “FUTS”. Trails are throughout Flagstaff, including one just steps away right outside the home’s sliding back door. Inside amenities include foosball, ping pong, air hockey and various board games. Even bicycles are available for use. The home is also a perfect base camp for so much northern Arizona has to offer, with convenient access to both I-17 and I-40.

The home, and full kitchen, are completely stocked with every essential needed for your stay. Plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils, misc pantry items, towels, bedding, paper products, shampoo/conditioner, soap, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, etc are provided. Just pack some clothes and foodstuff and you will be all set for your visit. Note that longer term guests might need to restock some supplies during their stay.

Note: Enhanced cleaning & blocking at least 24 hrs between guests at this time. Also note 3-4 night minimum in winter and longer stay requirement in the summer months. No Parties, No Street parking, No Smoking and No Fireworks permitted at any time. Also, please note that Flagstaff is a Dark Sky city and there are ordinances regarding outdoor lighting which affect the night sky/star gazing. Please be sure to turn off all outdoor lights when not outside using.

Book it now!
There are so many positives to this home that I don't know where to start! This home is located in a very nice area of Flagstaff, close to interstates and NAU campus. We used it as a base to do day trips (2 adults, 2 teens) 1. Rent from an individual - this home is the reason we rent directly from an owner and not from a management company. From condiments, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, hangers, phone chargers, plenty of pots and pans....this place has everything that you need short of clothes and groceries to fill the fridge. 2. Location - close to the interstate, restaurants, Target, REI, Whole Foods, Walmart, Eddie Bauer, the campus of NAU and downtown Flagstaff. Easy access to anything that you need! We even saw moose just outside the neighborhood. We used this home as a base to do day trips (2 hours to Antelope Canyon, meteor crater, Winslow, Grand Canyon Railroad out of Williams, Sunset Crater, Wupatki. We ended our trip driving 3 hours to Hoover Dam and flying home out of Vegas) 3. Communication - communication with the owner was easy and quick. She shared lots of info prior and answered a few questions that I had quickly and thoroughly. Thank you! 4. Price - great value for your money! If we ever relocate to Flagstaff, I would love to live in this community! Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us. I will recommend it to all of my friends!

Work life balance
I had a work trip over the weekend that I wanted to extend & have a little family time. This was a great place, very clean, stocked with everything you need. Games for my young adult daughters to stay busy, great kitchen for making breakfast & beautiful view of the forest that backs the property. Having a fireplace & garage were great too as it was February. Easy check & out procedures were easy & host was always promptly responsive.

Great little getaway
The home is in a nice neighborhood close to everything. We came for a long weekend to enjoy the snow and make a visit to Flagstaff Snow Park. The house had plenty of space, was very well stocked and and a great location within the community. Views were great and were able to walk out back and find a couple of hills to sled on. Owner was very responsive as well. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I have lived on both coasts and currently live in Goodyear, AZ. I bought this property as a vacation home and part time short term rental. Since getting divorced a couple years ago, it has been used more as the latter. I love the property and the area and enjoy sharing it as a Vrbo host.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is very close to NAU, town and shopping, yet it is nestled in a pine forest. As it contains townhomes with an HOA, the exteriors are well kept and the front yards are maintained by the HOA.

What makes this property unique

My property backs up to the National Forest on two sides and though it is close to townhomes and other homes, it can feel like it is alone in the woods. Also, it is one of the rare detached townhomes so it is essentially like a single family home.
