The Shores of Maui overlooks the crystal clear Pacific Ocean on Maui's sunniest shore. This condo is the only one that has two private lanais! It is a one block walk to beautiful Charley Young Beach, one of Maui's finest swim beaches and directly across the street from Cove Park, fun surf beach! Within minutes you will find championship golf, Maui's world-famous resort areas and restaurants. Your family's Maui vacation dreams will come true at The Shores of Maui! The condo is located on the second floor of a two story building. It is one flight up, no elevator. The condo has been remodeled with luxury vinyl planking throughout the entire condo, there is no longer any carpeting, as seen in some of the photos. Also just added a new sleeper sofa, 2 new living room chairs and 2 new queen size beds in the guest bedroom. There is split air-conditioning in each room. The kitchen has been freshly painted, 2 new smart TV’s, which include Netflix, have been added as well. In addition the condo is equipped with a pack n' play crib, a high chair and a strollers. There are sand toys, coolers, beach chair and umbrellas.

The condo has 2 beautiful, large bedrooms and 2 full baths. It sleeps six. It features two large lanais, private, (patios) both with spectacular ocean views, great for fabulous sunsets and whale watching. Free fiber optics WiFi, washer/dryer, dishwasher and a fully equipped kitchen.
On site amenities include a large swimming pool, heated spa, pickle-ball/tennis court, and barbecue facilities.
This tremendous unit currently rents for $259.00, low season, $295.00 high season, per night.

Great place to stay. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked. Parking was easy to get in and out. Close to many activities. Walked to dinner, snorkeling, movies etc. Really only had to drive going to the farmers markets.

Great place to stay

It was our second time at this condo. I like the location of shores of Maui and we had a direct view to the ocean. The condo was clean and very comfortable. We would like to come again.

Wonderful family time together

The location is nice, walking distance to stores and beach. Condo had beach chairs, umbrella, boogie board, and towles. Nice place to stay. I would come back here again.

We enjoyed the mini splits for cooling! The rooms & kitchen could use some updating. More and better kitchen accessories. The can opener was shot & some items were missing! We did have to borrow a can opener!

Great location and amenities!

Loved our stay at shores of maui! Such a great location, easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, beaches, park. The only things that seemed to be missing were hand soap and dishwashing soap, otherwise everything we needed was provided.

Condo in paradise

Absolutely loved our stay!!! The location was perfect, close to beach, walking path, shops and restaurants. The condo was huge compared to others in Maui and very clean! Loved the back patio for kids swim stuff. Definitely would return. Thank you for the perfect temporary home in Maui, Mahalo 🌺

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It came with beach chairs etc... We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It had ample parking and was centrally located. You might find the installed DSL to be to slow if wifi is really important to Brian Sutcliffe

Maui is the best!

Fabulous stay at Lisa’s place in Kihei - Condo had a great floor plan/layout. The big lanai’s were a bonus. Our beds and pillows were so comfy, lots of great places to eat close by (Kihei Café, Fabiani’s & ami ami’s) and very nice pool area. Charley Young beach was beautiful and a short walk away. Kids did surf lessons just down the street as well! Lots to do, lots to see ... a beautiful island paradise. We love Maui!

The best location

The location of this condo is perfection. The building is small and not crowded at all. The unit is very nice size for 5 of us. The furniture/linens could use updating but that is my only criticism. The owner was amazing with communication. We would stay here again and miss it already.

Great Location, Not A Clean Stay

Overall a great location. You're close to the beach, food and shops, you can view the ocean from both balcony's, nice pool with built in hot tub and a middle point for traveling the island. This part was great about the place, and also to note the host did have a bunch of toys and games to play at the beach, pool and pickleball courts. When we arrived, there was ants on the counter due to it not being wiped down, mold growing on the shower grout, as well as a disgusting smell from the washing machine due to the very obvious mold in it (which we spent our own money and 3+hrs to clean as we were here for 2wks so we needed to do laundry multiple times with 4 people), light in the fridge didn't work, ice machine was jammed (and continually jammed throughout or weeks here) from being so hot in the place. The neighbor in the condos across from the unit (not part of the shores) is very rude, disrespectful and constantly staring at you and telling you to 'shut up'; to the point she walked onto our premise to yell at us, in which Chris (the shores property manager)

Relaxing vacation at this condo!

4 adults and 3 children (2 toddlers and one 7 year old) stayed in this unit with the help of some rented baby gear ( we rented 2 pack and plays and 2 high chairs from a local business). Clean, wonderful location (walking distance to grocery, other stores, restaurants, beach, park with swings and playstructure for the kiddos). Small kitchen, but well appointed. Good selection of beach needs including umbrella, chairs, 2 nice body boards that we used a lot, pool noodles, even an umbrella stroller! Beds very comfortable. Sunsets are amazing from the grill area by the pool and the other people around (some owners of the other condos) were very friendly. Grills are spotless (cleaned daily by maintenance). Pool and hot tub very nice and well maintained. It was nice to have 2 lanais to lounge on. We especially liked a small beach walking distance from condo, just off Iliili Rd- next to Punahoa Beach Condos- this beach had a small tide pool area where my 7 year old was able to explore while we watched the Maui sunset. Took a whale watching excursion by Pacific Whale Foundation while we were there also - highly recommended for low cost, educational. And we saw a ton of whales (January 2016) even though only a few were visible from the beach at that time. Overall, would highly recommend this condo and I am looking forward to returning soon!!

Maui in May

Our group has stayed at this property before which is why we always come back to it. The property is wonderful and centrally located in Kihei we could literally walk across the street to the Ocean, shopping, restaurants. There is also plenty of parking. The only draw back is it is upstairs, so if you are older and have trouble with stairs you might want to give it a second thought

Perfect!

We had a wonderful two weeks in this condo! The property was just as it appeared in the listings. There were four of us (my wife, our daughter, her husband, and me), and it was the perfect size for us to spend time both together and apart. The location was absolutely ideal for both walking to beaches and shops nearby and for short drives to other places we wanted to go. We had only one problem (interent), and that was quickly dealt with, first by the property manager, and when he couldn't fix it, they had someone from the internet company come in the next day. We used the kitchen for most of our meals, and although it is a little on the small side, that wasn't an issue. Almost everything we needed was there, though we did end up buying a cookie sheet and leaving it there. Otherwise, it was very well stocked. We also used the barbecues (which were very clean every day), the pool, and the hot tub. Awesome! We didn't keep the AC on all the time, but when we needed it, it was a huge help. The cross-breeze by having both doors open also helped a lot in the evening to keep the heat down. All in all, it was a terrific place, and we would gladly return. Thank-you, Lisa!

I love Maui and have been vacationing there for over 40 years. I have family members who have lived there for 50 plus years. I have seen many changes to the island over the years. Kihei has pretty much remained the same. It has a much more Hawaiian feeling, a truly aloha spirit, which is prevalent in south Maui. My dream has always been to own a wonderful ocean view condo on the island. I fell in love with the complex because of it's great location to everything! We literally leave our car in the parking lot and walk to the beaches, market, fabulous restaurants, cafes, movie theater, boutique shops, live music and the best shave ice on the island! The complex is all opened air and the nicest/friendliest people live and stay there.

Why they chose this property

I have always loved Maui and dream of some day living there all of the time. I chose my condo because I would love to live in it throughout the year! I enjoy sharing it with others and appreciate the positive feedback that I have received.

What makes this property unique

In the winter you can see whales passing by from either of the 2 lanais. The sunsets are spectacular. Charlie Young is my favorite swim beach, there is a turtle crossing, and great snorkeling too.
