About this property

Spacious authentique house with a pool, which can be heated and lovely views

A spacious and beautifully renovated village house. The whole property has impressive original tiled floors and old beamed ceilings. With a partly covered terrace and a South facing garden, the house offers plenty of options to choose between sun or shade.

The kitchen and living room both give access to the terrace and garden. The luxury kitchen, which comes with signature concrete countertops, invites you to make the most delicious dishes and, while you do so, it offers stunning views of the valley beyond with its distinctive limestone backdrop; home to a plethora of Mediterranean orchids.

There is no through traffic in the hamlet, so it is wonderfully quiet. A peace only punctuated by the Nightingales that arrive in the spring.

The nearby lively town of Saint-Chinian hosts popular and vibrant Thursday and Sunday morning markets Tudery boasts an excellent organic winemaker a stone’s throw away from La Roque.

La maison est idéalement située pour visiter la région et entreprendre des promenades pédestres. Le hameau est isolé et très calme. La vue est très belle vers la vallée. Le logis est superbement pourvu en tout ce qui est nécessaire. Le propriétaire réside à proximité ce qui peut se révéler (et s'est révélé) efficace. A recommabnder. La piscine est petite mais agréable.

Oase der Ruhe

St.Chinian unweit mit einem belebten Sonntagsmarkt. Wandert mal nach Assignon! Anhand der vielen Weinstöcke kommt man nicht herum, die Trauben aus der Flasche zu probieren. Gleich nebenan sollte man beim Biowinzer anfangen. Also, Wohlfühlfaktor - außerordentlich.

Stylish country house in an idyllic location

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. Perfectly situated between Saint Chinian and the wine village of Assignan, the house is the perfect base from which to explore this lovely region. It was a pleasure to find a house with a kitchen that is properly equipped - it was a joy to cook in. We loved the interior design and the art in particular. We shall miss the view across the valley. Would highly recommend.

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine au soleil et au calme, la maison est très belle et tout est bien pensé et très propre, l'eau de la piscine est bonne, la terrasse très agréable, toute la région est juste magnifique, avec beaucoup de possibilités de randonnée, aussi depuis la maison, il y a des villages et marchés typiques à visiter, la mer n'est pas loin, la montagne non plus, en plus il fait calme, bref, j'aurais voulu rester plus longtemps...

Tolles Haus in idyllischer Lage

Sehr ruhige und schöne Lage mit großem Erholungswert. Die Einrichtung ist sehr stilvoll mit wunderschönen Kachelböden. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt, gerade für Weinliebhaber ist diese Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen. Die Anbindung ist gut und man ist auch schnell am Meer.
