A fantastic cabin getaway

We had an incredible stay at this cabin! The setting could not have been more serene and relaxing—truly a quiet, peaceful retreat that made it easy to unplug and unwind. At the same time, the location offered remarkably quick and easy access to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, allowing us to spend less time driving and more time out on the trails and taking in the stunning scenery. It was the perfect home base for a relaxing mountain getaway, and we’d love to stay here again!

Cabin was beautiful clean and cozy! The view from the Cabin beautifully shows the Smokey mountains and it’s under 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg! The hosts were very helpful and answered any questions we had! Great experience and I highly recommend!

A week in the Smokies

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend this cabin! It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and it was obvious that the owners have put so much thought into every detail. The cabin had everything we needed and felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect—peaceful and secluded, yet only a short drive to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It was the ideal place to relax after a day of exploring the Smoky Mountains. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing a bear from the property, which made our stay even more memorable! If you’re looking for a quiet mountain retreat with all the comforts of home and easy access to local attractions, this is the place. We’re so thankful for a wonderful stay and would gladly return in the future.

Family Getaway

Mike and Angela are the best hosts. This is the 2nd time staying at Laurel Mountain Retreat and as usual our stay was excellent thanks to the hosts for having this great property. We saw bears on the main road way from the front porch and we had one young bear walk right by porch on our last day. The cabin is in the perfect location and the hosts think of everything leaving you to relaxation and enjoying the mountains.
