Enjoy the view on the covered wrap-around deck with secluded jetted spa and easy/flat parking in the amazing Black Bear Falls Resort. Our cabin is perfectly located in a private area- a short walk to the pool but far enough to not see/hear the activity! Large but cozy master with arcade loft and all of the amenities needed for a peaceful retreat. Sip your coffee on the covered deck while overlooking the tiered ponds and Mount Le Conte.

Grill, swim, relax and explore! On Smoky Pond is fully equipped with full sized kitchen with granite counter tops, fridge, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, pantry-area, cookware and dining ware. Everything you need for homemade meals if taking a break from the delicious restaurants in Gatlinburg. Unwind in the new jetted spa that is tucked away in a private nook for a romantic soak next to the brook that runs along side. If you prefer to enjoy the great outdoors in comfort, cozy up the fireplace with a glass of wine!

Black Bear Falls is a highly sought after 80-unit log home community with swimming pool and clubhouse and is only one mile off East Parkway from red light 2A. On Smoky Pond is close to downtown, the National Park and Food City is only 2 miles away.

We limit our cabin to a maximum of 2 quests and it is a pet-free/smoke free rental. Our guests can be assured of an exceptionally clean, worry-free vacation. You won't find a better cabin! Book now and enjoy everything our cabin has to offer.

This cabin was exactly as the description stated. We have been coming to the mountains for the past 10 years for our annual Christmas getaway. We have stayed in Back Bear Falls several times, it is our favorite location as it is so close to everything but far enough away from the beaten path. The cabin was perfect, clean, had everything you needed plus beautiful views of the mountains. We have been the proud owners of On Smoky Pond since 2012. We loved it the first time we saw it! We had been using a local management company until deciding to go exclusively with VRBO this year. On Smoky Pond actually has 3 bedrooms, but we keep the first floor bedrooms locked and only rent it has a 1 bedroom. The Master Bedroom is large and it makes for a very spacious rental as a 1 bdrm. We absolutely love Gatlinburg and enjoy sharing our cabin with others so that they can experience all that the mountains have to offer!

Why they chose this property

Black Bear Falls Resort is in the perfect location - close to downtown (but out of the "chaos") - close to Food City (amazing grocery store) and easy access to the Park. 12 years later, it's still our favorite Get-A-Way. The community is small, private and our cabin is nestled in a quiet location overlooking the ponds.

What makes this property unique

The things that make our cabin ideal:
-flat/wide parking - any vehicle can park, even on snow/ice!
-private location of hot tub on the side of the cabin
-stream running on side of cabin
-location directly overlooking the ponds
-View of Mt. Le Conte
-Close enough to the pool to walk, far enough away to not see or hear
