Excellent ski access, renovated 2019 w/ hot tub, amazing views, and more!!!

Renovated in winter of 2019, this expansive home has excellent slope access, two master suites, amazing views, hot tub, pool table, games, 100+ DVDs, and so much more that will make you feel right at home. It is the perfect escape for a large family or a group of friends wanting a fun-filled ski holiday.

Secluded and luxurious, this beautiful mountain home situated on over an acre of aspen and pine, has incredible views of the surrounding mountains, evoking a ski lodge feel. The large home is two miles from the Mountain Village core, where guests will find shopping and dining. The Dial-a-Ride service offers free transportation around the area and you can also ride the free gondola that runs from the town of Mountain Village to the town of Telluride. Just a few homes off the slopes, we recently made the 200 step walk from Lower Galloping Goose to our driveway this summer in 90 seconds (in gym shoes and not ski/snowboarding gear). On snow days you can ski down the berm to the run. Excellent ski access for Mountain Village!

The lower (ground) level showcases a huge family room with sectional sofa, a pool table, and a smart TV with cable. There is a DVD/BluRay library of over 100+ movies, 200+ children/adult books, and all the board games that you love. The laundry room is nearby and has plenty of room for ski gear storage.

Head up a flight of stairs and you will find the great room that is absolutely perfect for a group of 2 or a group of 18! An open floor plan that features the great room, dining area and kitchen all in one space so you can gather with your family and friends. All new furniture with a sectional couch and sitting chairs to enjoy the fireplace and 60" smartTV. Lodgepole pine beams grace the ceilings and walls and San Miguel River Rock dominates one wall, making this home truly feel like a mountain cabin.

The vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors continue into the open dining room, which has seating for 10 with a fantastic view out the windows and countertop seating for another 4 people. The open and airy kitchen features wooden cabinetry, stainless steel appliances (including two ovens) a griddle, grill, and granite countertops.

A back patio features a Weber gas grill and a small picnic table for those wonderful summer meals. The front deck near the great room has multiple spots to enjoy the amazing views along with an inviting hot tub to enjoy during all seasons!

There are two master-style suites with king beds and en-suite bathrooms, two bedrooms with queens, another room with a new full-over-full bunk bed and a bunk room upstairs with a full/full and twin/twin with en-suite bathroom.

We also have two pack n plays, high chair, as well as baby and children's toys for groups who are bringing their young ones to enjoy Telluride!

Pets are considered! A pet fee will be applied for the extra cleaning - please ask for more information while booking.

Situated at the base of Telluride Ski Resort, Mountain Village is a skier mecca with easy access to some of the best runs in the country. It is not just about skiing here, however. Guests can ice skate or enjoy the firepit in the middle of the Plaza. During the summer, the town sees an influx of hikers and bikers due to the wonderful San Juan Mountains. This is also a fabulous rental for guests coming to some of Telluride's great festivals, including Telluride Mountain Film, Telluride Film Festival, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and Telluride Blues & Brews. It s a true year-round recreation destination.

Mountain bikes are waiting for your use in our garage! Please note that while we do our best to regularly maintain our bikes, they do break down at times and we rely on guests to let us know if there are any issues that need to be fixed. Because of this, we cannot guarantee the condition of every single bike upon your arrival. We ask that if you are looking to do some hardcore mountain or planning your trip around the trails that you bring or rent your own bike for your stay with us! Safety is always our main concern, so please make sure to check the bikes before heading downhill and we recommend bringing/wearing your own helmet so that you are safe and comfortable. If any issues do arise with a certain bike, please set that bike to the side and contact us. We will then do our best to get it fixed with one of the local shops.
