Luxury Awaits at Antler Ridge!

Antler Ridge is a 5BR/5BA custom home with over 5,000 square feet of luxury finishes and high-end furniture. Before stepping inside, note the putting green just a few feet away from the front door. This home boasts high vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan where the living room, formal dining area, and kitchen flow together. Located on a private lot in the upscale community of Yonahlossee Resort (gym, indoor pool, and indoor/outdoor tennis courts), this home has fantastic access to both Blowing Rock and Boone. The three-story home includes huge windows, stone fireplaces, Brazilian Cherry floors, Cherry cabinets, stairs, railings, and Cherry wood trim. In case of a power outage, it is equipped with a backup power generator to continue your vacation even in unlikely circumstances. Downstairs you'll find a pool table, ping pong table, and recessed hot tub on the lower deck. The gourmet kitchen features high-end appliances, granite counters, and is well-stocked for cooking. Five bedrooms offer a regular bed and privacy for all guests. Each bedroom offers ample space for everyone while on your vacation.

*Please be advised that the home does offer central air conditioning on the main floor and the upper floor, however, the downstairs area does not have access to the air conditioning. While the lower level is usually much cooler than the upper levels guests should be aware of this when planning their stay at this home.

*Yonahlossee charges a daily fee for the use of amenities. Club membership includes pool and gym access, but does not include access to tennis or pickleball courts.*

Fabulous

House was perfect for our family. Teens enjoyed the downstairs while adults enjoyed upstairs. House very well designed for large group as we hardly even saw the teenagers. Had a great time.

Antler Ridge

This was a beautiful home, perfectly suited to our extended family. A few inconveniences .... no ice maker, no trash pickup, dishwasher soap tray would not close, mold in washing machine door, & cobwebs in various spots. Otherwise, it was a great house in a beautiful setting. It had lots of space and privacy for each family member, comfortable beds, and a large kitchen that was well equipped. We had a great week!

This is a stunning home with loads of space and amenities. The kitchen was well stocked, and our family thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent together. We were in town for a wedding, and we wish that we had more time at the house to thoroughly take advantage of all that was offered!

Boone getaway

Everything we expected. Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Plenty of activities on site. Only thing missing was a visita view ( which was not promised or pictured ) … just had to drive a few minutes away for that ! The drive up is not for the faint of heart! Wonderful weekend with friends and family - would definitely rent again !

Family gathering

What a beautiful home! This home was perfect for our family gathering. Plenty of things to do with our grown children and our 12 year old twins. The house was great for photos and entertaining. The outdoor fire pit was a great place to hangout at night. We had trouble working a ceiling fan and the property owners sent someone out to help and change out some light bulbs as well. Very responsive owners. I would highly recommend a stay at this great property!

Thanksgiving Family Retreat

Overall this property was very enjoyable. The wood burning fireplaces set the holiday mood. The decor is pretty neutral, with plenty of space to spread out for the whole group. We ran into some heating issues that could not be taken care of while we were visiting, but the space heaters made the lower floor mostly comfortable (Grandparents wore winter jackets). The hot tub was cold when we checked in, but heated up by the next morning, it got plenty of use. The kitchen stovetop and double fridge were excellent, the dishwasher could use updating (the soap door does not close, so dishes did not clean from previous tenant). We really enjoyed playing pool and ping pong (need new paddles) while watching football in the bottom floor. It would be nice to have some extras for the price of the property....there was 1 kitchen garbage bag, no shampoo and conditioner, 1 hairdryer, and 6 hangers in the entire home. We would rent this home again, the flow of space and very close proximity to Blowing Rock and Boone made up for the negatives.

Beautiful Home/Rest Terrible

Antler Ridge is a gorgeous mountain cabin in an upscale resort community between Blowing Rock and Boone in the Yonahlossee community. That's unfortunately where the positives really end. We communicated with the direct company maintaining Antler Ridge, Carolina Cabin Rentals (CCR), approx. 12 times the day we arrived at the property (24 DEC) for various issues related to the house, such as the alarm system blaring, and the main level heating not properly heating the house. Everything went to crap around 1800 that night, when I was on the phone with CCR, when the main level master bathroom suffered a catastrophic leak that went into light fixtures and the HVAC closet in the basement. We had to evacuate quickly due to the flood. Hopefully for the homeowner's sake CCR sent someone to check it out, otherwise Antler Ridge is probably ruined now. Thankfully, CCR gave us a full refund, and I'm sure they are a good company when things are going well. If you encounter problems/issues with your CCR rental, good luck, as many of the CCR employees we dealt with were condescending, combative, rude, and unhelpful. We are still waiting for a refund from VRBO for the service fee, 3 weeks after staying there, and VRBO keeps giving us the run-around for a refund. This will be the last time we rent a property with either CCR or VRBO as their customer service has been atrocious.

Wonderful mountain house

We loved the spaciousness of this house! Our kids took over the basement / game room and loved it. We really enjoyed the closeness to Boone and Blowing rock area as well!

Great location but be aware

The house is potentially a great place. No a/c downstairs did not affect sleeping. The house has not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. Cob webs, spider webs, mold on window ledges, no screen on back porch, many light fixtures without bulbs, dirty carpets downstairs, etc Had major ceiling leak during Fred aftermath in main floor master. Reported immediately. No one ever came. To investigate, although a package of 8 towels were delivered (there were 12 of us). We emptied water buckets and trash cans with water and mopped with towels. Garage code for trash did not work. We hauled all trash down ourselves. A lot of money for a 3 star experience

Incredible home

Great Stay for Family

Had a great time at this property enjoying time with the entire family. Nice long dining table to have meals together. Large open space to spread out and relax. Kids had a great time exploring the area around the home and a morning at the indoor pool in the community. Great stay.

Some one needs to check house after cleaning. Range looked like it had not been cleaned in ages, Oven same way. Kitchen faucet in need of repair. I could address few other things. Out door lighting needs attention. House was arranged great for our family. Would book again.

Over All Amazing Property

Cabin was great. It was spacious and the layout of the cabin was perfect for a big group to spend time together but feel like everyone has their own personal space as well. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because there were some cleanliness issues that we never experienced before renting with Carolina Cabins. We saw a mouse inside the cabin on the lower level, some of the bathroom garbage cans were not picked up from the previous guests, and it didn't feel as fresh as the other cabins. But, overall we had a great time and understand that these issues happen and can be fixed easily.

It was a perfect house for our family. We loved it. We did have trouble regulating the temperature in the bedrooms at night. The kitchen was very well equipped which was helpful since we cooked all our meals in. Maybe some of the pots and pans need to be updated. We cleaned the cooktop as best we could. I think someone needs to do a deep cleaning on it. Thanks to the owners for decorating for the holidays.

Antler Ridge

Really a gorgeous cabin! Plenty of room for everyone and the amenities were great! Huge kitchen, fun downstairs area, comfortable beds and great living space. Plenty of dishes and cook ware. Our only issue was with the hot tub. When we got there it registered at 56 degrees. After a couple troubleshooting tries we had to have maintenance out the following day. On the last day of our trip it was also not functioning properly. We were a little bummed we could only use the hot tub on two of our four nights. The rest of the house and the location made up for it though. Beautiful views out of the big windows. We saw so many deer! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful space

The home was gorgeous, however, i was very disappointed to come to a cabin with no tissue and empty hand soap dispensers in all of the bathrooms. Also the hot tub did not appear to be well cleaned. I just expected more considering the amount of money spent. Other than these things we really enjoyed the space. In particular the great sound system!

Stairs are inconvenient to bring luggage in and out especailly for senior citizens. Upstairs bedroom with twin beds had a trash can with dirty diapers and trash in it. Firewood should be placed in the fireplace storage area next to the fireplace not downstairs. Lots of leaves and twigs on outside patio and putting green. The kitchen utensils need upgrading as well as the pots and pans. Overall the stay was good but we will not return to this property.

Excellent home in a location that gives you access to a lot of enjoyable activities. The home has excellent resources (from kitchen, grill, restrooms, decks, and tools for entertainment). Carolina Cabin Rentals were excellent to work with and very responsive to questions. Our group looks forward to working with Carolina Cabin Rentals in the future and will hope to stay at Antler Ridge when we return to the Boone area. Thank you all for giving us a wonderful location for a very enjoyable week.

Great house for a family of 12, but there were a few issues: trash left over from prior renters, the code to the garage did not work, the jacuzzi in the master bedroom didn't work, the hot tub needed filling and cleaning and a mouse trap met us when we walked in the door. We also made a few calls about some of these issues and the calls were not returned. Overall, the house is really nice and we had a great time.

The home is gorgeous but uncared for of late. It wasn't clean when we arrived: lots of spider webs; crumbs under dining room table centerpieces; dirty countertops in kitchen (coffee grinds); huge dead centipede in closet; garage door code didn't work; and no screens in any of the windows so we could open them to abate musty odor that permeated the home. Didn't expect to have to clean house first for that price. Also would've liked to know that main entry to house is up huge flight of steep steps.
