SUNNY LOUNGE GRAND APARTMENT
The spacious, light and luxuriously furnished 3-bedroom apartment of 171 m2 (about 1,880 sqf) on the 4th floor with elevator occupies a whole south wing of the historical
building included in UNESCO World Heritage list.
This neo-classic building is located in a quiet and prestigious area of the
Riga centre and it makes our apartments excellent choice for both business and vacation travellers .
It is just a few steps from the central Brivibas street and a 10 min walk
to the Old Town. There is a beautiful view of the nearby ancient Old Gertrudes Church.
The unit can accomodate up to 10 guests .
High ceilings, oak parquet floors, 2 cable TVs and DVD player, free optical high speed WiFi Internet.
Two fireplaces, bathroom (with jacuzzi and bidet) and guest shower.
Fully furnished kitchen has incorporated danish furniture (light
oak). Initial supplies of napkins, soap, teas, etc

Could use some TLC. (Tender, loving, care)
First, I must say Jev was a good host. He was patient with our late arrival time (for which he asked for a tip of EU20). He did a good job of explaining things in the apartment. The apartment itself seemed old and musty. The kitchen is small and has a hodge-podge of furnishings. We were disappointed when Jev told us there was no dishwasher soap as we had planned to make breakfasts and snacks.

Just a small remarks:
First, a charge for a late check-in is stated in our conditions and in House Rules, so this is not a tip.
Secondly, please do not mix dishwasher soap (that was there by sink) and dishwasher cubes that you did not wanted at that time.
Third, yes, only six guests can be seated in the kitchen - sorry about that. Instead 14 guests may seat in the sitting room by a dinner table.

Great stay for a group
We had a lovely stay in Riga at this property for our group of 6. We enjoyed the amenities, especially the large suite and the dining area. It's in a quiet area of the town, but still has easy access to lots of cafes and restaurants. The property owner was pretty friendly as well.

A very good location within a 10 minute walk of the old town. A quiet area but shops and bars close.
The property is huge! Only three of us stayed there but it would easily cater for up to 10 people. We were welcomed by Jev who manages the property. He is very sociable and friendly and ready to help or advise with any queries. The property itself is full of character with quirky and traditional furniture and ornaments. Don’t expect modern but the apartment is clean, everything works and despite its size is homely. I would certainly use this property again. For us it ticked all our boxes.

Sehr schöne große Wohnung in Zentrumsnähe
Der Vermieter Jev ist sehr nett und gibt einen tollen ersten Überblick über die Möglichkeiten in der nahen Umgebung. Kochgeschirr ist zu wenig vorhanden, Backofen kaputt. Alles in allem aber eine schöne Wohnung und Lage zum Zentrum. Alles fussläufig zu erreichen.
