About this property

Private cabin overlooking beautiful Cargill pond in Liberty Maine private dock with swim to dock off shore. Kayak, paddle boat, canoe and awesome bass fishing right from dock. Cabin has 3 bedrooms , two upstairs, one bedroom has two twin beds the other has queen and one on first floor that has a full bed , 1 bathroom with shower, kitchen, wood and propane heat. Wrap around deck with beautiful view of water and stars at night.Has a large backyard. Cabin is situated about 200ft off water on a seven acre lot. Walk down to dock on switch back path (steep) or walk down circular road to other path (much less steep)

Exceeded our expectations

Wonderful cabin, very comfortable and bigger than expected, the pictures don't do it justice, the bedrooms are big and the beds are very comfortable and clean. Great view of the lake from the huge deck. Quiet and peaceful location. The owner was very easy to communicate with and quickly responded to any questions we had. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful Location

The cabin was roomy and comfortable. The pond (which is the size of a small lake) was great to sit by, swim in and watch the loons go by. There were no motor boats at all. The stars were able to be easily seen (no light pollution). The drive to the shore in Belfast was only about 25 minutes away. There are great state parks and long and short hikes close by. All in all, we would be happy to go back and stay there again (even though it was an 11 hour drive for us coming from Pennsylvania!).

Off the Beaten Path

No frills cabin in rural Maine. Not fancy but exactly what we needed as a home base while we visited friends and family in the area. Host was easy to reach and very helpful when needed.
