We personally designed and manage this home because we love sharing it with guests who appreciate a special travel experience. We give our guests space but are available when needed. While we strive for perfection, if anything comes up during your stay, please know we are here to make it right and ensure you have a fantastic time.

Beautiful views! We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms and beds were super comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, and house instructions were very clear. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was perfect for our chilly February weekend. Kids enjoyed the board games and the basketball hoop out front. We would book again!

Amazing stay in bucolic Sebastopol

We loved our extended stay on Bloomfield Road. Far from the bus tour chaos of Sonoma, we enjoyed the meditative drives through farmland, the weekly farmers market and local bike paths. Terrific local restaurants and just 25 mins from the ocean on warm days. Laureen and Jonathan were impeccable hosts and the views and pool are to die for.

Fantastic home in Sebastopol!

This is by far our favorite home we've stayed in in Sebastopol. The pool is perfectly designed for littles who haven't fully learned how to swim as there is a very shallow "platform" area in the pool where they can walk or sit in the water. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and the grapes were ripe enough to eat. The home itself was great and had supplies for toddlers including a pack n' play. Definitely will stay here again in the future!

Wonderful stay

One of the best properties we’ve stayed at from the cleanliness, attention to detail, good amount of supplies and amenities. The beautiful landscape in the backyard and views are unmatched. The pool was excellent (pay for it to get heated, it’s worth it!). They had floaties and pool noodles available which was a nice surprise. The area lost power for a few hours and we didn’t even notice since the backup generator kicked in! Also, good location!

Everything was lovely! The house, the property, the pastoral view complete with cows and horses! Every detail was considered- a full pantry with spices, flour, etc and every cooking utensil (the only thing we couldn’t find was a garlic press!) comfy beds, shampoos and lotions, delicious homemade granola from Laureen, flowers on the table to welcome us. Well done!! We would definitely come back to Bloomfield😊

Can’t wait to go back!

This property is exactly as described in the listing and it’s perfect. The house is decorated and laid out extremely well and after an initial trip into town (only about a 10min drive) we had no need to leave. The kitchen is well stocked with all the appliances you will need and there was even a little snack basket to get us through making our grocery list. The views are gorgeous. The pool is beautiful. The rooms are all very comfortable whether you’re cooking, lounging or sleeping. We are already planning to come back again next year. Can’t recommend enough!

Family time in Sonoma

My Family and i rented this lovely home for a family wedding. The house it’s self is great, big and spacious. Everything you need is provided by the homeowners. The back yard is beautiful! Unfortunately we were unable to use the pool. The jacuzzi was nice. The pool house would be great if you were able to use the bathroom instead of trekking back up to the house. But overall beautiful home and property!

Beautiful home in a quiet country setting

My daughters and I had a girls’ trip and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful home and wonderful pool area. The pictures on VRBO are accurate, but they do not reflect the beautiful view of the land that you get from most of the windows, the deck and the pool area! The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. The home was clean. It is a very quiet neighborhood and there was plenty of privacy to just enjoy our time together and relax. We all agreed that we want to come back to this property for our next girls’ trip. Laureen the property manager and even the owner himself were quick with communication as needed which was greatly appreciated.

A Fabulous Experience - Beautiful Setting and Location

What a fabulous property and location! I cannot say enough about how enjoyable this home is. It is so well equipped and comfortable. The setting is lovely and the landscaping is so well done. While we were too early in the season to use the pool – we were able to use the hot tub a few times – so nice. There were basically 2-4 of us in the house – except for one weekend we had six folks. Accommodated everyone very well. I cannot leave a review without calling out Laureen and Jonathan. They take great pride in this property (and should do) and were super responsive in answering any questions that we had. Laureen is a joy and helped make our stay even more enjoyable! We will be back -

All you need and more! Don't pass on this house!

Before we even got to the house the communication with the host was quick and easy. This house was the last of 4 stops on our journey along the coast. We walked into a clean, modern, comfy home. The house was decorated as if in a magazine, but comfy enough to be lived in. Clean is an understatement. The grounds, all of our favorite, were amazing. The plants were amazing and so well manicured. The pool and hot tub were perfect! The view!!! The beds and pillows were so comfy! We enjoyed the town of Sebastapol so much! The house is centrally located to enjoy the wines of Napa, Sonoma, and Healdsburg! I can't say enough about this host and house. I hope to be back soon, we will definitely rent this house again and again! Thank you Jonathan! You have a gem and you can tell you are passionate about taking the best care of the home and your guests!! Thank you again!!!

Repeat stay...just as wonderful.

Just a few months after our stay in 2021, we re-booked for 2022. Our teen girls were very excited to see Laureen's homemade granola upon arrival again (it is really that good) and she even texted with local farm U-Pick options and tips to secure slots, which book up super quickly. The house and grounds are just so relaxing, complete with super cute wildlife. Thanks for another lovely stay, Jonathan!

Our home was originally renovated just for us as our escape from the city. Shortly after we finished the project, work took us to NYC, and we decided to share our home with others so they could enjoy it in our stead.

We love hosting as it's truly been wonderful and a pleasure to provide others with an excellent experience while they are traveling. We've had a number of pretty awful experiences with home sharing ourselves, and we have committed to being different. We grew up in restaurant families, so hospitality is in our blood, and it's a joy to share something we created with others!

Why they chose this property

Besides being the birthplace of the California wine movement, it's now home to over 425 wineries, and even more great places to eat. We knew we wanted to buy a home somewhere in Sonoma County, and looked for almost a year until we found Bloomfield. We've always loved the natural beauty of the Sonoma Valley, and love how close it is to San Francisco, making for a very easy weekend getaway.

What makes this property unique

We were struck by the openness of the property, perched on a hill with beautiful views of pastures, rolling hills, and wineries from the rear of the home. We knew with some work, we could turn the space into something people would enjoy as much as we do. It is comfortable, yet still modern, and we tried to add many thoughtful touches and additions that make this feel like a private, peaceful country home away from home.

The backyard pool and gardens are really a showpiece in and of itself, and we spent a lot of time crafting the perfect sanctuary back there, and continue to improve it over time. Many guests have remarked that it's the favorite part of their stay!

We also keep up with maintenance and regularly refurbish items and update things throughout the property - we care about the home and reinvest a lot of our earnings into it so it remains an excellent place to stay and not something that just looks good in photos taken 5 years ago.
