A secluded cabin on the Buffalo Nation River with beautiful views and wildlife.
Dewey's Cabin is a two bedroom one bath, very secluded cabin with gorgeous views of Point Peter Mountain and located only two miles from the Buffalo River.
Please be aware: Renters will need to bring their own bedding and towels. This is how we keep our prices low and affordable for our customers. Also, the cabin is secluded with beautiful mountain views, however, there is 5 miles of dirt road to reach the cabin. We recommend bringing atruck or SUV.
Manes Bluff Cabins are perfect for horseback riders, hikers, or anyone looking for a scenic stay away from town. Located on the Buffalo Nation River, cabin is 4.6 miles from Snowball and located about 300 yards from Dave Manes Bluff lookout on the Buffalo River Trail in the Ozark Mountains. It is about 3 miles from the Buffalo National River by county road to the local favorite swimming hole the Margaret White A favorite and beautiful nearby river spot is the Margaret White. Whether you love hunting, fishing, or observing wildlife, this place has it all. 33 acres surrounded by park land.
This place is also wonderful for anyone interested in history as the late owner Dewey Dill spent time making moonshine in the school bus cleverly hidden (buried) behind the cabin.
Point Peter Mountain is visible off the front porch of Dewey s Cabin and the driveway to the cabin is marked by a beautiful old barn built in 1938.

Megan and Kevin Rea are the owners of Manes Bluff Cabins. We enjoy all that our rural home has to offer including hunting, fishing, and horseback riding.
Why they chose this property
This property is special with a unique history and secluded location. 5.6 miles off the main highway, this location gives opportunity to get away from it all. With no neighbors or traffic, the only sounds with be of Ozark Mountain wildlife and nature. The late owner, Dewey Dill, built the house and used the secluded location to work his moonshine business. There is a school bus cleverly hidden (buried) behind the cabin where Dewey hide his still. Take a trip into the history of the Ozark Mountains.
What makes this property unique
Nature lovers and hunters alike will enjoy this location. The town of Marshall nearby has one of the few remaining drive Inn movie theaters left in the United States today. The Kenda Drive Inn has great food and great people and makes for a fun and unique experience.
