This perfect little cottage has just the right amount of charm for a romantic getaway. Completely renovated with lots of character in tact. One bedroom with plenty of windows to enjoy the view. But why stay inside when there are two large decks to enjoy the sunshine and breeze? The kitchen is open to the living area and is all pleasantly decorated for a relaxing weekend. We tried to think of everything you will need to make it a great retreat. Surfside Beach is a great place to unwind and relax. Come enjoy Coconut Cottage!

Calm, lazy, and beautiful times at the beach!
Stealing photo opps from the kids that left next to us. Haha. Late afternoon beach time.
So relaxing! Just a 5 or 6 houses walk to the beach.

Oscar and Shel were helpful with ideas on things to do and places to eat. The cottage was so cute and comfortable. The beach access is a short 3-4 minute walk. Highly recommend.

Cute cottage great for romantic getaway with husband

This place was so adorable. It was perfect for me my husband and our dog. Cold AC and ice cold refrigerator. The host made sure to stock the house with everything needed. Very comfy bed. Quick walk to the beach. We cant wait to go back. Would definitely rent this cottage again.

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful stay at this Surfside Beach home! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the sunrise and unwind by the water. The little touches throughout the home made it feel extra welcoming and comfortable. Communication was smooth and check-in was simple. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would love to stay here again in the future!

We just needed a quick getaway and even though it was cold and rainy on the beach it was just what the doctor ordered. Owner very helpful and thoughtul.

Beautiful Cozy Beach House!

Everything was perfect! House was light and airy, beautifully decorated. Plenty of room, kitchen was well stocked and the coffee was great! Host gets a 12 out of 10.

Amazing hosts and a fun coastal stay

You couldn’t find better hosts for a vacation to the Texas coast! They just had a hurricane and the place looked untouched by the storm. The host made sure we were informed about our stay from the time of the storm until we arrived! They checked on us to make sure we had what we needed and they took care of the post storm mosquito problem. We loved the place and the hosts!

Perfect for two

We enjoyed our stay and the property is stocked with everything we needed. The listing is exactly as described. It was a perfect getaway for two. We stay in Surfside once or twice a year and this location is the best. It's close to everything including the beach and restaurants. The check in and check out was easy and communication was great. We will likely stay here again.

We loved our time here. My 14 year old daughter and I made some good memories at Surfside Beach. Mosquitos come with the territory but we did find bug spray. The house was easy, had what we needed and it was clean. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in August and we loved it. The house was very comfortable, was in a good location and close to the beach. Everything was clean and the a/c was on so it was cool when we arrived. The bed was comfortable and it stayed nice and cool at all times. The kitchen had everything we needed, although we really didn’t cook any meals. We loved sitting on the balcony and looking out at the ocean with a nice sea breeze. Mosquitos did come out around dusk, so take plenty bug spray. We took our own chairs for on the deck and were glad because the chair there were not real comfortable, but they are fine for a quick sit. We drove onto the beach so that we didn’t have to carry our stuff, but it is walkable and there is a walkway over the dunes. The outdoor shower was appreciated to rinse off after the beach. The beach was very empty this time of year, so it was nice and relaxing. The water was even fairly clear. Surfside is our go to beach since it is about a 3 hour drive from home and we love it there. We used to stay at The Breeze, but it has not been open since the last storm. We have now found our perfect place to stay!

This was our second stay here this summer. Love it so much we had to come back for another visit before summer is over. This house is perfect for the two of us. A very comfortable king size bed and two air conditioners that cool very well. The kitchen has everything we need also. The front balcony is nice to sit and look out at the ocean. We look forward to returning often!
