Douliana is a small traditional village, 22 km. East of the city of Chania, in a natural beauty area.
In this village (of a total of 300 for Greece) was awarded the title of the national conservation area of ​​beauty "Natura", keeping agriculture as main activity. The old houses were rebuilt for a holiday and provide a traditional life on view seasonally. (Olives and oranges in winter vegetables and fruits in summer, autumn wine).
There are two taverns with traditional Cretan cuisine, and a mini market with local products.

What makes this property unique

Overall mark given by the renter: 5/5 "Small house in a small holiday village in the Cretan countryside sheltered from the hustle and bustle. Air-conditioned studio with comfortable bedding. Swimming pool of good lengths and exteriors maintained with care. The village (70 inhabitants) is charming with its inn its typical bistro. The location is perfect for visiting western Crete.
