The rental is located in a comfortable and safe neighborhood. The windows don’t provide a view which was fine by me as it added to the sense of security. My cat enjoyed the outdoor sounds as they could be easily opened. There was too much furniture and too many accessories for my liking, but I just moved some things around and made the space more workable. One of the things I liked the best was the big bathroom and long countertop which held all of my cosmetics, lotions, etc. There was more than ample towels and bedding available; plus the kitchen was well stocked. Also, it was really nice to park my car off the street. St. Louis Market is only a couple blocks away and fantastic for picking up groceries and/or creating your own salad or hot meal. I spoke to Ken several times on the phone and each time he seemed genuinely caring and very capable.
We loved the area where this property was located. Easy walk to dinner & for coffee the next morning. Interior was very clean & the perfect size. The outside area was well kept & relaxing. Overall, a great stay!
We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed how close the property was to everything. Gave four stars for cleanliness as the kitchen counters had coffee grounds collected on them (it was an easy cleanup but something I would want to know if it were my property for guests.) Eveything else was perfect and I would stay again!
Absolutely magical! Perfect for both calm and fun. Iron Hand Brewpub is lovely and mere steps from the beautifully lanscaped front gate. Ken was lovely and easily accessible. We will be staying here again our next time in Mobile.
This little gem was amazing, very clean, great location, awesome amenities, and lovely decor, but the best part was the bed, very comfortable, which is just what we needed. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
Extremely well located, artsy, in best historic neighborhood
So convenient, one block from a small fabulous neighborhood grocery and one block from a charming cafe and daily food truck. Being in the de Tonti Square neighborhood was absolutely right decision. Old Mobile, walkable, safe, friendly people--great architecture and old Live Oak trees. The proprietor lives in his own unit right on the site and is very responsive and friendly. Highly, highly recommended.
We had a great two night stay, location for any activities in downtown cannot be beat. We were in town for a wedding and able to walk to all the events and restaurants.
We had a great weekend getaway in Mobile. This is an awesome property and is within walking distance to some really great restaurants and breweries. Easy check in and a really cool place. Will book again if we are headed back that way.
This apartment was perfect for my one-person stay. I was in town for a conference and it was very conveniently located to the downtown area and convention center. I could have walked almost anywhere. The area felt very safe. The property was charming - it was so nice to have a homey feel instead of staying in a hotel! Would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area!
Ken is a pleasure to work with and we enjoying staying at all of his locations. Thank you!
