Maalaea Banyan is located in a quaint harbor village on Maalaea Bay. Watch turtles, dolphins and whales directly from the oceanfront lanai (balcony). Enjoy the ocean views that seem to go on forever! It is one the most centrally located resorts offering convenient access to most of the popular sites on the island. Enjoy the solitude of a resort far from the crowded high-rise hotels and traffic.

About the Condo

This recently remodeled home has all the modern conveniences to make your stay a comfortable one. The 555 square foot condo is on the second floor and overlooks fabulous Maalaea Bay, with gorgeous views of Haleakala, Molokini Crater, and Kahoolawe Island.

Maalaea Banyon Unit #209 includes a very comfortable new California King bed in the bedroom . Listen to the waves lull you to sleep at night! This well appointed home is beautifully furnished in tropical style and comes complete with beach towels, beach chairs, etc. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen, new spacious refrigerator with ice maker and cold filtered water. The spacious pantry allows plenty of room for food storage for extended stays keeping your kitchen clutter free. We have a washer/dryer combo machine, however, we recommend for faster drying to use the additional dryer we recently added in the hall closet. (Please do not overload washer/dryer). The two ceiling fans are not always needed because of the comfortable ocean breezes that flow through the bedroom and living room when windows all windows are open. There is a Queen size sofa sleeper in living room for one extra guest.

Enjoy the sparkling pool, hot tub and well-manicured grounds with chaise lounges and tiki torches lit most evenings. There are two gas BBQs and outdoor eating available on the lawn near the BBQ area.

There is a small private beach accessible from the property where you can watch the sea life up-close. Sugar beach is a sandy shoreline stretching for about 2.5 miles (4 km), from Haycraft Park in Ma'alaea all the way to north Kihei. Haycraft Park entrance is located at the end of Hauoli St., which is just a short walk (2/10 mi) from the condo.

The Maui Ocean Center is next door, home to Maui's world class Aquarium and a delightful outdoor center with shopping and dining opportunities. Those who love water activities will appreciate staying next to the Maalaea Yacht Marina, a convenient departure point for sunset catamaran cruises, snorkeling excursions, and sports fishing boats.

*Every Maui Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.

*Guest will be charged for extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. This condo and property are amazing. Beautiful view! The condo is positioned perfectly to be our of the sun all day. The beach is perfect. You can walk on the beach to Kihea from the condo (3.5 miles).

Amazing Stay
We really loved the unit and the complex. We loved having a washer and dryer in the unit and a/c. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and watching the sea turtles. The only suggestion would be to update the living room furniture. It looks a little dated but overall I would give our stay and A+!
