Our oceanfront condo, Kanai A Nalu Unit 402, with 1000 sq ft, is perfect and affordable for families or two couples traveling together looking to relax and enjoy Maui for an extended period of time. The floorplan affords comfortable suite-like living with privacy for everyone. The private lanai offers some of the most spectacular whale watching in season and is perfect for sunrises and sunsets with a full view of the ocean. Typically, turtles are feeding in front of the condo daily! And when you are not on the lanai, at the beach or in the heated pool you will enjoy the inside comforts of all new living area furniture including 2 recliners.

Convenient location with great views

Condo was perfect for our family of four. Incredible views and it seemed like nearly everywhere in the island was a half hour away. Lindy also gave great advice prior to our arrival and was very communicative. Would stay here again.

Overall, the condo was as described and as shown in pictures and the view was amazing. The Maui breeze kept it mostly cool, turning on the AC at night helped us sleep better though. The wind in this area can get strong but we didnt mind. Host was easy to communicate with and responded to i quiries quickly. We are likely to stay here again!

Nice place. Very clean and wonderfully decorated. Very disappointed in the beach. Pictures showed a beach, but it was all blocked off. That was the only negative. Loved the Lanai and watching all the turtles and surfers! Sun rises and sun sets beautiful!

Lovely condo with stunning view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful condo in Maalaea. The location is perfect and central to everything we wanted to do. In the mornings we sat on the lanai drinking coffee and watching the boats leave the harbor and in the evenings we enjoyed the sunset and view of Haleakala. The condo itself is very nicely updated and well-appointed. The bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed sitting in the recliners in the evenings (when we weren't on the lanai). It was spotlessly clean, very well organized, and had every amenity you could want.

Amazing and Spectacular

Staying at this condo was everything we envisioned and more. Waking up to sounds and views of the ocean was breathtaking. The property manager was very helpful to us at check in since I couldn’t recall the code number to get inside, also when I called the owner he responded right away. The condo was well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels. All kitchen supplies were stocked and the condo was immaculate. Hopefully one day we will be able to return!!

Beautiful condo

But a long way away from any amenities or seeing the sites. If all you wish to do is lie on a rocky beach or play in a small swimming pool, then this condo will fit your needs. Maui isn’t very big, but when you must drive 20 minutes minimum for something as simple as a cup of coffee… Being away from the crowded touristy beaches was nice, however. Front bedroom was extremely warm the whole week, so my kids slept in the living room on the floor and couch.

We are sorry to hear you were less than satisfied with our complex. Most of our guests tend to enjoy the location as centrally located making it easy to explore the entire island without driving too far. Yes, sometimes our beach can be without sand as mother nature giveth and taketh away - again we are sorry that during the timing of your stay the sand was out. As for the pool, you can see our complex is not huge (only 80 units) and therefore the pool needs to fit the grounds and still leave room for all the other areas needed such as outdoor grills, community patio seating, free parking, and lawn for additional lounge chairs and relaxing. We do provide a coffee maker in the condo and if it was not working, please let us know as we will get that situation rectified asap. The ceiling fans throughout the condo (bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, 5 in total) as well as the split AC usually keep the condo a decent temperature if windows and doors are also closed. We are sorry that your children were uncomfortable. We do our best to provide a pleasant vacation for everyone who stays in our condo. We are sorry that we missed the mark for you and your family. We do know that pleasing everyone all the time is a high bar to set and that achieving it is a challenge. We wish you the best. Paradise 4 All, LLC

Beautiful view and convenient location

Was great for our family and our needs. It was very clean and updated. The one bedroom did not have any air conditioning so it did get hot but not unbearable. They did have floor fans which helped. Location is centrally located to many things. You can walk to the harbor for tours if you want. Very nice beaches located within a 25 minute drive. Would not recommend the beach which is in walking distance if you have small children. Beautiful view and private setting.

An exceptional property

This top-floor condo was perfect for our stay. Not only was the condo itself perfect for us, but it was convenient to everything we wanted to do in Maui. Kihei, Lahina and the airporn were all within 20 minutes, and nearby beaches were abundantly available.

A great place to stay for our family of 3. The condo was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy and the location, while more on quiet side, was a quick 10-20min drive to the airport, Lahaina, Kihei, and Wailea. A bonus was that we were able to walk 10 min to Maalaea Boat Harbor for our snorkeling tour boat. Definitely would stay again on our next Maui trip!

Our family had a wonderful time vacationing in this condo. The ocean view is spectacular, honestly, you can't get much closer to the waterfront than this! We watched the sea turtles getting tossed in the waves from the balcony. Everything in the condo is in new condition and very clean. It has everything + that we needed for our stay. It is quiet, family friendly and centrally located. The pool is warm and crystal clear! We even got to meet two of the owner/partners, Jim & Lindi, they are the kind of people you'd want for your next-door neighbors! We would definitely consider staying here again!!

Why they chose this property

After having stayed at Kanai A Nalu every February with many of our friends and our family over the course of 12 years we realized this was OUR paradise - our home away from home. In 2012, we decided we were not going to stay anywhere else for vacation and we opted to buy one of only eight top floor oceanfront units. 402 has exceeded all of our expectations!
