Very nice house ideally located for exploring Touraine and Anjou. You will feel at home there. The interior space of 190 m2 and exterior of 1800 m2, will allow you to be at ease. The view of the fields and vineyards will disorient you!

It is a country house, but with modern decoration. It has been completely redone. It is a real holiday home: fitness room in an outbuilding, soccer goals, volleyball court, real pétanque field, ping pong table, heated swimming pool (in Spring-Summer function), barbecue, hammock ...
Ground floor: 1 living room convertible into a double bed bedroom 140 cm contiguous with a double bed room 140 cm - Kitchen - WC with washing machine -Living room.
Upstairs: 1 bedroom with 2 double 140 cm beds (children's room) - Bathroom with bath and shower - 2 sinks - 1 bedroom with double bed 160 cm.
Nearby the Chateau de Rochecotte for an aperitif, see dinner. Very good food at Langeais: Around the halls and at Ingrandes-de-Touraine: Vincent country cook.
The main Loire castles are located within a 20 to 60 km perimeter around St Patrice: Chinon, Loches, Azay-Le-Rideau, Chenonceaux, Villandry, Langeais, Rigny-Ussé, Montsoreau, Saumur ... Fontevraud abbey, Candes de St Martin, the black frame ... The arrow zoo is 40 minutes away. Nearby is the wine route: many cellars and many producers of wines from Chinon, Bourgueil, St Nicolas, Saumur ... Horse riding with cellar visit. Loire river bike tour, fishing, boat ride, forest ride, Langeais and Bourgueil market ... There are many activities.

Great property with all facilities you could need. The outside area is amazing with lots of things to keep everyone busy and a lively pool.Only slight downside was the spiders in the house however it is a rural property so has to be expected.

Self check-in and check-out. On arrival there was no welcome pack of basics I would normally expect in this calibre of accommodation. Tea, coffee, milk and bread for example. There was a half full bottle of wine in the fridge and some water. There was no wardrobe space available at all for the two bedrooms on lower floor. The wardrobe in one of the downstairs bedrooms was prohibited for use and was full of owners clothes. The upstairs wardrobe had very little space and even less hangers. As a result my husband and I lived out of our suitcases for the duration of the holiday. The pool was a lovely addition and was clean and a good temperature. However the robot cleaner was broken and when the owner went on holiday midway through our stay, we were asked to clear filters and top up pool. Again I do not expect to be responsible for this upkeep and in previous accommodations the pool has been cleaned by a pool attendant. The outdoor area was large and benefitted from shaded areas and sporting equipment. Claire the owner was very helpful and available whenever we needed her. We enjoyed our stay but feel that there are a couple of improvements that could be made to make it a 5 star review.
