About this property

1bedroom/1 bath fully updated cottage with a scenic window,fully functioning kitchen, and centrally located in between I275 and the Veterans Expressway. Close to shopping, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and Raymond James Stadium. Downtown Tampa and Channelside are just a short 20 minute drive away to Amelia Arena and the Aquarium. Need to catch a cruise, that's in Channelside too. Come and relax on our beautiful lake or during cooler weather enjoy the outdoor firepit!! Please note this is a shared property. Owners live on premise and there is another cottage located on same property of our almost 1.5 acres. When you are here you have full access to the property's amenities. Although interactions with other guests are rare, you may run into some and watercrafts are a first come first serve basis at use of own risk. Please ask first before having guests over.. There is not a lifeguard. Owners are not liable for any acts of nature for example wildlife, falling tree limbs, acorns, but not limited to others. Refunds will not be given for inclement weather or early departures. By booking this you agree to these terms.

Beautiful property with older house and well water. We loved every minute outside or gazing out the picture window at the lake.

Adult Field Trip / Getaway

We stayed at the cottage March 14-16, 2024 for my husband's birthday. The pictures were absolutely spot on. This place is quite beautiful! The cottage is cozy and the view is amazing! We sat by the water every morning! The owners were very accommodating and just all around very nice people! I highly recommend this spot! 5 stars!

A Private Oasis That's Close to Everything

What a wonderful weekend! We enjoyed a quiet evening watching the sun set over the lake from the dock, which has both sitting & lounging chairs, little tables & a sturdy umbrella. The evening that it rained was also incredibly relaxing from the screened in front porch, overlooking the lake. The bed was quite comfortable, which is always important to me. The shower is quite close to the commode, so anyone needing assistance (like a walker) would probably have difficulty navigating the small bathroom. If you're familiar with Florida well-water, you'll recognize the sulphur smell, so I'd recommend bringing bottled water to drink, make coffee with, or cook with. And it's just something to deal with when showering. But we wouldn't let that deter us from staying here again. When on site, you feel a million miles away from civilization, but everything you could want is so close. Grocery stores, restaurants & all kinds of shopping are just around the corner. It felt like the best of both worlds! If we're back in the area, I would have no hesitation to stay here again.

Very Unique

Beautiful, immaculate and relaxing grounds. Very unique cabin. Well kept. Clean. Comfortable bed. Homey feel and very private. For us, the well water took some getting used to, but in keeping with the cabin experience.

Relaxing and like home

Our stay was too short! The accommodations were great. Clean, friendly - host is personable, friendly and inviting just like his property. Only bummer was low water pressure in the shower which I’m sure is hard to change. But most definitely would book again for sure. We will be back!
