We have included all the essentials for the ultimate beach vacation. For a family that likes to have the flexibility to make meals at 'home' or somewhere to keep the basics for breakfast and lunch and minimize the vacation expenses - we've got you covered. We provide everything you need to enjoy your time on the beach -- two beach chairs, two beach towels, a beach umbrella and a beach cart! In the kitchen, we provide a Keurig and a drip coffee maker for your caffeine needs. Be sure to spend some time enjoying the excellent restaurants that range from fresh-caught seafood to casual beach fare to fine dining, all nearby.

Old Florida charm located right on the Intracoastal waterway. Our guests will enjoy a heated pool set alongside the Intracoastal waterway, right by the pool is a Tiki Hut and charcoal grills for a lovely relaxing evening. Catch some fish from the fishing pier and grill them out. Just a short walk across the street through a private security gate is Siesta Key beach access. The most beautiful white-sand beach you can find!

The bedroom has a king size bed, ceiling fan, 55" HDMI flat-screen tv and dresser. Just off the bedroom is a large closet.

The living room includes a queen size sleeper sofa, and flat screen cable tv.

The kitchen has everything you need - coffee maker, toaster, fridge, cookware, dishes, glasses, and silverware.

The bathroom has a large shower/bath combo.

Kitchen towels, bath towels, beach towels and sheets are all provided. Just pack your clothes and you are all set for an amazing time on Siesta Key beach.

An on-site paid laundry (washer and dryer) is available for your use.

The heated pool area is next to a small picnic area with charcoal grills and Tiki hut. Relax by the pool as you watch the boats go up and down the Intracoastal waterway or head down to the dock for some amazing fishing. There are a huge variety of fish you can catch. You can either get your bait fishing from the dock, or head down the road to Mr CB's to buy some bait. Walk across the street and go through the private access gate to a beautiful stretch of Siesta Key's Crescent beach.

If you are interested in stand up paddle boarding, parasailing, jet-skiing, scootering - there are rental facilities nearby along with lessons for beginners.

No other beach in the world is as clean, white sand, cool on the hottest days and as safe to swim as Crescent Beach/Siesta Key Beach!!

This particular unit has been refurbished and is better equipped than many condos costing twice as much to rent.

My wife and daughter loved their stay. Whether you are wanting a quick dip in the pool, the serenity of laying out by the bay or people watching with your toes in the sand by the ocean… this condo offers it all. There was a small issue with the sink but Miao and Chip made sure that it was quickly handled. We look forward to starting our search with the Mermaids Rest the next time we visit Siesta Keys!

Yes very welcoming great day they had even suntan lotion etc. hairdryer I love the king bed was very comfortable! Only thing I would add it be wonderful to get an extra kitchen towel and maybe an extra roll of toilet paper. The gate door that you slide to close if you wanted privacy into the Bedroom is a little tricky but it does close pretty much to keep light out.

Perfect getaway

Nice quiet stay for Spring break! No need to rent a car. The Frog gave us a ride into the village when ever we wanted. Met so many nice people at the pool. Would stay there again!!

It couldn’t have been better! The accommodations were wonderful - comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and lovely grounds and pool! And the location was great too, a very short walk to the beach and the pool area was right on the inter coastal waterway. There were nice grills available if you want to grill out and the host was very responsive and gratuitous! We will definitely stay here again!

Mermaid Rest was very clean, equipped with everything you might need, and decorated so attractively. The king-sized bed was quite comfortable, and my husband really enjoyed the living room recliner. Not only was it a short walk to the beach, it was also a short drive to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We were completely pleased with our stay!

Old Florida feel on Siesta Key

We spent six nights at Sea Club 2. Condo was great, plenty of on site parking. We enjoyed the pool and boat basin. The short walk across the street to the beach was great; wagon, 2 beach chairs, and umbrella provided. Some hurricane damage still evident as the laundry room at sea club was out of order. Check with your host if this is an amenity you plan to use. However, the restaurants and shops are open, lots on great things to do on the island!

Take a little walk

It was nice and very clean just didn’t realize it was on the second floor, so it was difficult carrying everything we needed up and down the stairs. Will make sure and request ground floor next time. Other than that it’s a very nice place to stay.

From the beginning of our stay we were able to get in a little earlier. The condo had everything you needed. The bed was so comfortable and the linens smelled nice as well. The pool and grounds were so clean & nice . It was relaxing watching the boats go buy sitting in your chair. A little walk to Siesta Key beach but worth it. Just call the Frog hop and have them pick you up to go down to the villages. That’s where the action is . My favorite restaurant so far was “Gabbianos “ it was delicious and the staff were so nice as well, especially Rico our waiter. Peggy the grounds manager answered any questions we had and was a doll!! I would def go there again 😊

Across From Beach!

The unit was very clean and updated. Location is perfect. Intercoastal area has many nice chairs, a dock, and beautiful views. Short walk to the private beach. From what I can tell, there were not chairs for us to use at the beach provided by Sea Cove II which was an assumption I made, but the condo has a couple of chairs and a pull-cooler to take with us which is nice. The kitchen was very limited in supplies including just one dishtowel and could be better equipped. 2 beach towels were supplied, and a couple of extra would be nice as well. Plenty of towels in the bathroom were available and the shower was very nice. Couch and chairs were comfy. Lighting is challenging in the living room with only table lamps. The bed is harder than we prefer. No elevator is provided and it is an upstairs unit, so be sure to note that, and I'm not sure if that is specifically stated in the owner's description.. The owners had all the codes we needed in plenty of time and the unit is very fairly priced. I will rent here again. Thanks so much!

When we were looking for condos on Siesta Key, this one had it all! There is nothing like sitting by the heated pool, watching the boat traffic going up and down the bay. The fishing from the dock is fantastic - you can catch a wide variety of what the bay has to offer - Redfish, Snook, Snapper, Flounder, Ladyfish, etc. It has a Fishing pier, heated pool and the beach is just across the street. In the village, there is an abundance of good restaurants and shopping. In Sarasota, you can visit the Ringling Museums, Ca' d'Zan, Selby Gardens, take in shows at the Van Wezel, Sarasota Opera House, or one of the local theaters.

What makes this property unique

Hang out on the lawn in the evenings and watch the boats go by, go for a late night swim. Grill out and chill out by the pool. Sea Club II provides a peaceful setting for you to enjoy. Nearby attractions include Mote Marine aquarium, TreeUmph, Jungle Gardens, Myakka River and Oscar Scherer State Parks and Sarasota Classic Car Museum, and Historic Spanish Point.
