Our apartment is newly renovated by the hands of local craftsmen and decorated with a unique eye toward modern design. You’ll have full use of the first floor apartment with front entrance, direct access to backyard, a fully appointed updated kitchen, designer bathroom with large shower, and a comfortable queen size bed to melt into.
We encourage you to explore the amazing City of Lancaster, our apartment is centrally located with several restaurants, a yoga studio and organic food market just around the corner. The heart of downtown (Central Market and Convention Center) is a 10 minute walk with many interesting shops, boutiques, cafes, pubs, music venues, and art galleries along the way. Just ask, we are happy to share a list of our favorite spots!
Our apartment is located in the Historic Chestnut Hill section of Northwest Lancaster City. Known for its architecture the neighborhood is a mix of homes and warehouses with many of the buildings dating back 100-150 years or more. The neighborhood is vibrant and safe with a mix of residential and small commercial – restaurants, groceries, shops, and galleries.
Tree lined streets and access to green space define the City and visitors will get a first-hand look at the green transformation taking place in the City with newly completed streets that are designed to capture Stormwater and accommodate bike traffic.
Lancaster is very walkable. Other options include public transit (RRTA), bike lanes, and the auto. Park your car for the weekend and enjoy all the sites by foot. On street parking is available with a public parking garage around the corner.
