About this property

Simply delightful Guest Suite in Lancaster County Country

This newly renovated one bedroom suite is located in the beautiful Lancaster County countryside. This apartment is attached to our house but has a private entrance. We are located between the villages of Intercourse and Bird-in-Hand and within fifteen minutes of most Lancaster Country attractions. Our property is surrounded by Amish farmland and is a quiet retreat for 1-4 people.

Enjoy the beautiful backyard in summer on the back deck or yard surrounded by trees. Open fire ring, wood, and gas grill provided.

Our apartment includes a bedroom with one queen bed, full bathroom, living room with a sofa bed, sun porch, and furnished kitchen. All linens are provided.

Sight and Sound Theatre, Kitchen Kettle Village, Green Dragon Farmers’ Market, Shady Maple Smorgasbord, Bird-in-Hand, Strasburg Railroad, Farmersville Auction, Tanger Outlets, Landisville Museum and Peaceful Valley Furniture are some of the places we’ve visited during our time in the area, and Simply Wonderful Vacation Home is centrally and conveniently located between them. We’ve stayed multiple times at Mary and Oscar’s lovely vacation home and it’s always a pleasure to be there. We hope to return next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Simply Delightful. Oscar and Mary are friendly and helpful hosts and their rental is clean and comfortable. From a full kitchen, a deck, comfortable bed, fluffy towels and even homemade peanut butter cookies, we appreciated how they provide for the needs of their guests. This was our second time staying here and we have already made reservations for 2025!

Peaceful Country Home

My husband and I enjoyed everything about our 6 day stay. The location was perfect and convenient to shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, the garden was beautiful, and we enjoyed watching fireflies at night from our private deck. Omar and Mary are great hosts, and we definitely want to stay again next time we're in PA.

Quiet & clean with a beautiful backyard. Loved the private deck and the beautiful countryside views. Hosts were very friendly and helpful with brochures and other materials on the property to help with navigating local restaurants, etc. We will be booking again with them!

Very nice gueesthouse

It was a great place to stay. It was very clean, which is so important. It had everything we needed. We were on the go all week, so much to do. Mary and Omar are wonderful people. Their yard is beautiful.

Long weekend in Lancaster County

Quiet getaway perfect for 2 people. We were there for a long weekend for our anniversary and Omar and Mary were kind enough to give us a bottle of Sparkling Grape Juice to celebrate with. Oh, and homemade peanut butter cookies, too!

Calm Getaway

This apartment is set in the middle of the beautiful countryside and was exactly what we were looking for in a short quiet getaway. The owners were super friendly and hospitable and even found a basketball to offer my son who was excited to see that they had a basketball hoop onsite. Would definitely book again!

The stay at Simply Delightful Guest Suite absolutely lives up to its name. I cannot say enough about the hosts Mary and Omar. Cozy comfort

This property is very cozy and comfortable, and has the main comforts of home. This was our second visit so that says a lot. The hosts are hospitable, and provide everything needed for a wonderful stay. A recliner is a must for us and a comfortable bed. There is a deck and a sunroom. It borders beautiful country setting!
