This Log cabin is completely wooded and private with a great view! 2800 sq ft, 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, 3 level home with basement. Private driveway with easy access off of main road with half being cemented. Huge wraparound covered porch with mountain views for you to relax and enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the sounds of the many types of birds we have. Hot Tub has 30 massaging jets to soak away all your stress. Cabin is completely equipped and furnished with upscale decor and linens. All linens are professionally cleaned off site. Flat screens in every room including a 60' Flat screen in the living room, 32" flat screens in bedrooms, propane BBQ grill, fire pit area and much more. There are 3 king bedrooms with log furniture, and all 3 have brand new pillow top mattresses. 2 rooms with full and twin beds. Every detail has been taken care of to insure your best vacation ever. This cabin is nestled in the middle of 4 acres of woods for your privacy. There are not many log homes in the area that offer the extras and luxury of this home. From coffee, filters, toilet paper, spices, hand and dish soap it's all there! The decor is an upscale rustic theme with upscale sheets, towels, and comfy throw blankets.

We are a pet friendly cabin..We Love dogs!

A log home in the Cowee Valley, 1 hour from Asheville, 3 hours from the Atlanta Airport, 35 minutes to the Cherokee Casino, 45 minutes to Waynesville, Sylva and Dillsboro. Near Smoky Mountains National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway for lovely scenic drives and hiking trails. Locally known for gem mining, several in our area including Cherokee Mine, the only unsalted mine in the Cowee Valley. Also close to hiking, rafting, fishing and beautiful waterfalls. Hospital located 10 miles away in Franklin, as well as a Lowe's and Wal-Mart. Many excellent restaurants, antique stores and shops located in Franklin. For the motorcycle enthusiasts, the Tale of the Dragon is only 30 minutes away.

SUCH A WONDERFUL CABIN TO STAY IN

This cabin was everything we needed to have a great family vacation in the mountains. The cabin had everything we needed and more. It was very clean and beautiful. We enjoyed it alot.

Great cabin crew trip

Enjoyed our stay. We wished the common area would have been a little larger. For 11 people it was a little snug but we enjoyed our time and it wasn’t a big issue. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds / mattresses could use a refresher for comfort. Would stay again.

Great place

The property was as described and very nice. It is a cabin in the woods, and it’s an hour and a half from just about everything but Franklin, NC. We enjoyed our stay and prefer a cabin type environment.

We love this cabin!

Beautiful cabin and setting. Lots of space. Easy access. Everything we needed was there. High chair and baby gates were unexpected bonuses. Beds were comfortable. Such a pretty view especially with the leaves this week! Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return!

Excellent for unwinding!

We loved our stay at the Fireman's Dream! You can tell that a lot of thought has gone into making sure that the cabin has most thing you need during stay there (appliances, utensils, linens, etc.), and the quietness of the surrounding area made this cabin even more the retreat we were looking for. The hot tub is quite the treat, and as dog owners, the added detail of having gates on the deck upstairs was incredible, as that helped us feel safe about letting the dogs roam around on the porch as well! All in all, our trip was awesome and we are definitely going to be renting this cabin again!

Great Cabin Great Location did I say Great Cabin

What a wonderful place and fantastic location. House has an excellent kitchen and well furnished rooms. The hardest part is deciding if you want to be on the porches, hot tub, at the fire-pit or in the great room. Wallace and Linda are fantastic to work with. We spent 4 days at the house on a motorcycle adventure, all law enforcement, and as much as it hurts to say, this fireman did it right!!!! LOL, Thanks again, fantastic place, we will be back........

Fireman's Dream is the perfect cabin for the perfect getaway! Upon entry, our breath was taken away by the rustic beauty of this cabin. To our amazement, the cabin was stocked with everything you could need. The location is so very peaceful, a great escape from the hustle and bustle of our everyday world! Give Fireman's Dream a try. Heating and cooling systems adequate ...kitchen area a little cramped,but adequate supply of cooking and eating utensils. Wished we had a house floor plan to better estimate how to split accommodations. Nice area, easy entry way and convenient to Franklin so it worked out fine.

The cabin is beautiful. One major problem we saw was that there was no lamps in the basement bedroom that had no windows as well. The only light was an overhead light with the switch at the door. That bedroom is extremely small and no tables next to the bed. Therefore, CPAP machines had to be on the floor. Also, the basement was extremely musty even though we ran the dehumidifier at full force the whole time

Relaxing Get A Way

Very nice location , very nice house with all we needed. Host , Ted very quick in answering our question. His assistant , Crystal stop by and help us reprogram one of the TV sets back to Sat. There is some farm land in the distance as you can hear a roaster crow about 6am. Most mornings we would sitting on the porch having coffee and enjoying the scenery of tall trees and clouds moving through the mountain ridge. Had no problem with insect day or night. Had 2 deer grazing in the front yard by entry driveway. Plenty of hot water, HVAC system work great! Nice hot tub . Stayed 7 days , wish we could have stayed longer !Family Reunion 10 adults , 1 child 3.5 yrs old.

Awesome family get away

Great house! Plenty of room, able to spend time together and in solitary. Hot tub has perfect view. Grill, bake, stove top, microwave. Awesome gas fireplace for ambiance. We will go again. Perfect location for seclusion.
