FlipFlopHaven is your vacation destination. Located at The Summit #822 on the 8th floor. Bright fun, beach front condo with an amazing view of the beach. One bedroom with king bed and commercial grade queen sofa sleeper and twin bunk beds in the hall. Our condo sleeps a maximum of 5 people including infants. A fully equipped kitchen makes preparing meals a snap. We have a front loading washer and dryer in our unit and a private balcony facing the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. This is a non smoking/vaping unit. You must be 21 and show ID at check in.

Imagine yourself, enjoying the ultimate vacation escape, relaxing in the warmth of Florida's sun and the cool ocean breeze as you are serenaded by the surf. That dream is reality at flipflophaven at the Summit Resort one of the most popular beach front resorts in Panama City Beach, Florida. You will enjoy beach living at its best in this condominium that sleeps 6 and features fun beach décor. It has a full kitchen and is stocked with everything you need for cooking. The kitchen has ample counter space a full size refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher as well as a full size range. This condo is equipped with a coffee maker, blender, toaster, cookware and all necessary cooking utensils as well as WiFi in the unit. We also provide hairdryers and an iron.

WE SUPPLY: All bed linens and 6 bath towels 2 hand towels and 6 wash clothes. Four rolls of toilet paper, one dishwasher detergent capsule and one laundry detergent pod and two trash bags will be also provided .

DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES ARE NOT PROVIDED DURING YOUR STAY.
There is a washer and dryer in this unit for your use if you need to wash your linens during your stay.

No beach towels provided.

NO SMOKING and NO PETS allowed.

Guests will have full access to the condo as well as all common spaces including two pools (one seasonally heated), two kiddie pools, grills, two outdoor and one indoor hottubs, game room, exercise room, and private beach access. Beach chairs are available to rent at on the beach.

We are always just a phone call away if you have any issues during your stay.

Located directly on the white sand beach this condo is easy walking distance to Spinnaker's and Club LaVela. It is also less than a mile to Pineapple Willies. Walmart, Ripley's and Wonderworks are less than two miles away.
Across the street is Hammerhead Fred's and Wendy's and subway.

The is a pool side snack bar and Tiki bar.

You will need to go to the office on the 1st floor of the Summit to buy a parking pass and armbands. The cost is $27 for one parking pass and 5 armbands for your entire stay. (may be higher during spring break) there is only one parking pass issued per unit during summer months and other busy periods and holiday weekends.

From the great condo to the clear gulf water. What a wonderful time. Can't begin to say how much we enjoyed our visit. Owner was the best. Prompt answers to all our questions. Would recommend to everyone. Just please fix the elevators.

Family get away

Our Condo was not ready at 4:00 when we got there. The owner was very apologetic but it still took until after 6:30 that evening. There was a communication problem with the maid or something. Also, the sliding glass door to the balcony was so hard to open…my husband and I had to use two hands to force it open. My mother in law couldn’t open it at all and would be stuck on the balcony until one of us came back from the beach. They need to get a new sofa bed….it looks all faded out and worn. On the plus side, the condo is in a great location. The kitchen is stocked with all the equipment and soaps you will need. The beds were comfortable and the noise level was fine. Once our room got cleaned and we were able to start our vacation everything went fine. We’re supposed to get $75 back because of the room not being ready. I would go back to this room again and hopefully it would have a smoother start and the door will be fixed.

The hotel room was great views of sun coming up and going down. Almost directly over the pools could sit on balcony and listen to the music from the DJ. Overall great experience beds where good and that’s hard to find

My family & I really enjoyed your Condo, and Thanks so very much for sharing with us. It was my grandsons first trip to the beach & it was AWESOME. The ONLY thing that I could say that I didnt like was the sliding glass door to patio, it was very hard to open/ close but that was no biggie... overall I LOVED it & look forward to coming back next year & hope to stay at your Condo again, the place was very clean & roomy for us all. The location was great for attractions too.Thanks so much!!

Summit frequent flyers

#822 was nicely decorated in colorful beach decor. It was clean and very well stocked. Beds were comfortable and there were lots of extra blankets and pillows. We've stayed in many Summit units and this unit is one of our favorites. There were a few minor signs of wear, but knowing the party crowds that can sometimes be at the Summit, the unit was in good condition. Loose handle on balcony door, and broken but repaired toilet tank cover were the minor infractions. We would recommend someone fix the slow drain in the bathtub, but otherwise - we would definitely stay in this unit again! Also worth mentioning is the great communications with Randy the owner regarding any questions we had prior to our arrival.

Overall we were happy with the condo and the Summit. It was just as pictured on VRBO and we felt very safe there with our kids. The staff was friendly and helpful. We found everything we needed easily and made ourselves at home. It's probably about time for a good thorough cleaning such as air vents, carpets, etc. more than just typical maid service; otherwise it was very clean. I definitely could see us staying there again. Thanks for helping make our vacation great!

Great Location!

Just got home from an awesome week with the family. This unit is really nice. Great view from the deck and far enough away from elevators to be quiet. The Summit has really great facilities as well. Close to a lot of great restaurants and stores. Our three grandchildren (7, 4, & 2) are already asking when are we going back. The rental procedures went very smoothly. Would strongly reccomend this property.

We had a great time, the condo is decorated in a nice colorful beach theme. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and having a washer/dryer in the condo is very convenient. This is our second year to stay in this condo and we will be staying again next year.

Family on Vacation

The condominium itself was great, bright colors, nice place, fantastic view of the Gulf from the balcony (standard for Summit). Need something to secure sleeping child within the top bunk, other than the ladder down. But overall, great condo. * Unfortunately we came at the wrong time - Memorial Day weekend was filled with too many people playing beer pong, getting really nasty in their dancing, and throwing beer cans in the otherwise beautiful water in front of our place. . And they continued to stream through security from condo to beach - I guess they were guests? Not to mention the broken bottles near the elevators at night, and the foul language in the elevators. Elevators were broken some of the time, so we took the stairs up to the 8th floor, smelling urine in some of the corners. We have always loved our family vacations at PCB during Memorial Day weekend, but this time we must have hit an unusual wall with the amount of craziness. Usually it's been a nice blend of families. This time, college kids (all drunk) ruled. Thanks to the owners of this condo, who were ready to help with contacting maintenance with a need to change a lightbulb, we had the little items taken care of. They were great! If only they could have predicted the onslaught on the beach...

This condo is probably one of the best that I've stayed in at the summit. The decor is very refreshing and the wood floor is a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay, and we will definatly check with Randy the next time we stay at the summit!

Truly feels like a home away from home.

We just enjoyed a perfect week in your home away from home and hated to see it come to an end. Your condo was just what we were searching for and provided us with a great beach experience. We loved being on the 8th floor, between the elevators and away from the noise of the clubs at night. The view of the beach from the balcony was exquisite and the balcony was so well furnished with plenty of seating including the table and chairs and the two love seats and end tables! It was so restful to be able to sit on the balcony with a choice of seating. We also enjoyed having a place on the balcony to hang a wet bathing suit or towel. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything someone might need! The two things we were extra glad to see were the scissors and potato chip bag clips. I know that might sound crazy, but when you need it, you need it. We needed both and they were there. Your photos of your condo are exactly what you see when you walk in the door. Your website depicts your condo perfectly - there were no unexpected disappointments. We were even happy with the ease of locking/unlocking the door. We have stayed in condos where locking/unlocking the door became a major issue to the point of having to contact the owner and wait outside for a locksmith because we could not open the door - not fun. We just had a perfect vacation and would definitely recommend your condo to others. We have stayed at The Summit for many years and there is definitely a difference in your vacation according to which condo you rent. Your condo had everything we could possibly need - truly a home away from home. My very favorite piece of decor was the photo of the children on the bedroom dresser. They are just precious! The owner responded immediately to my request for information which really helped us move forward with making a reservation. I asked several questions because we are picky about a few things. He was extremely nice and helpful! We could not have asked for anyone easier to deal with than Randy. He is a super nice guy. Great condo + great owner + great information + great location = perfect vacation!!! We ate at the following restaurants and they were all delicious: Scampy's, Hammerhead Fred's, Calypso's and Margaritaville. We ordered take-out from Surfside Seafood Market and it was also delicious. One more thing we love about The Summit: the on-site security! They are great and you feel so safe. They keep an eye on everything!!

The stay was great! We were able to wake up every morning and eat breakfast on the balcony (which has an incredible veiw of the water). The kitchen in the condo was very convient and stocked with all cookware. We were able to buy food cheap at the wal mart across the street.All our family slept comfortably in the condo with the sleeper, bunkbeds and king bed.The way it is decorated gives off a beach feel and is very comfortable. The local dining is very good and if you rent a boat there is always a chance to see wild dolphins. All in all it is a perfect vacation spot for college aged people, Families, and retired individuals. I am definatly going back to this condo.

We travel thru out the south with our business several months out of the year. We own four condos in Panama City Beach which are also available at FlipFlopHaven When we aren’t working we spend our spare time there.

Why they chose this property

Panama City Beach has the most beautiful sugar white beaches in the world. We visited the area several times before we decided to buy. When it was our time to purchase a beach home we knew exactly where to look. It is an easy days drive from almost anywhere in the South. It has great beach frontage, you are only a few steps away from the room to the pool to the beach.

What makes this property unique

It is a perfect home away from home and has everything we need, from it's comfortable bed to the front loading washer and dryer. We think when you go to the beach you should feel like you are at the beach even in the comfort of your condo. We are constantly looking for ways to improve/update it and make it the best condo on the beach.
