Located along Battery Creek and minutes away from Historic Downtown Beaufort and Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island. Be sure to take a Carriage Ride through our History, Dine at our AMAZING Restaurants, Bike Ride, Kayak our Seaside Village and don't forget a Movie Tour while you're here. Location of property is peaceful with gorgeous views of the water. My husband and I felt very comfortable staying there. The Hunting Island State Park pass was a nice surprise. Thank you!

Mermaid Cottage

Very inviting with a lot of extras like kayaks, bicycles, grill, fire pit, and a great dock. Handy to stores, and many of Beaufort attractions.

We love staying at the Mermaid Cottage! We celebrated our anniversary here once again and had a blast. The views from the balcony and dock are amazing. The hosts have thought of so many little details to make the place extra special.

Festival

We loved the place! Very clean and comfortable. We came to enjoy the Water Festival(our first time), and the Mermaid cottage was so convenient to all the activities! We went to the beach, did lots of fishing, sightseeing and lots of eating at the many restaurants Beaufort has to offer! Enjoyed our stay very much!!

Beautiful Stay in Beaufort

Our place was even better in person and beautifully decorated! It was spotless and the view was spectacular! We used the bikes for a quick ride into town and enjoyed a walk on the trail just behind our rental. We also utilized the park pass for Huntington Beach which is a must see!

This vacation rental was well planned in it's design and build coupled with it's magical views. Clearly, attention was given to even the smallest of details! Can't wait to go back in warmer weather.

perfect stay

We have been on a month long trip in the southeast of the United States, and this is the best place we have stayed. It is everything you could hope for both in modern conveniences, and attention to detail. The owners have thought of everything, even a state park pass for their guests. The owners should be proud of their accomplishments!

What a beautiful place! So wonderfully decorated and clean! The bed was super comfortable! The view is amazing! The water is tidal at the dock so just something to be aware of if bringing a boat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return!
