Northwoods Cabin on the Lake, Eagle River

Charming cabin located on Anvil Lake 10 miles east of downtown Eagle River. Beautiful Anvil Lake is perfect for swimming, fishing, paddling, and motorsports. Winter months offer ice fishing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing with trail access less than a mile away. Enjoy the beautiful rustic shoreline, clear water and sandy bottom lake with 2 docks and lots of fun amenities! The cabin has 3 bedrooms (2+sleeping loft) and 2 full bathrooms. Truly a Northwoods Cabin on the Lake experience!

The cabin can comfortably accommodate 6 guests, or 8 max with children. The main floor bedroom (#1) has a queen bed (double floor mattress stored underneath). The upstairs bedroom (#2) has a queen bed. Bedroom (#3) is an open lofted space with a double bed. Available by request are two twin size memory foam floor mats (for little ones) and a pack 'n play, which can be placed anywhere in the home.

Boat launch is located nearby at Anvil Lake campground.

Very spacious cabin. Plenty of fans which were very helpful because we had some good heat that week. The lake is very clean, fun water toys to play with. Easy drive to Eagle River, Saint Germain, Minocqua. Great spot, very quiet.

Perfect family getaway!

What a great spot to get away and reconnect with family and nature. The lake is beautiful, clear and sandy. Highly recommended. There are also loads of lake toys available for use including kayaks, paddle boards, skis, wakeboards, and many other things.

Awesome and very clean cabin with the cutest decorations. Beautiful property and lake view including eagle sightings, loons and deer. Excellent stocked cabin with numerous activities for young and old alike. Great outdoor deck setup. We wished we had another week there.

Lakeside getaway

This property was a great setting for our family vacation. There was plenty of space for our family of four and a set of grandparents to enjoy nature and each other. Whether you’re interested in fishing, playing on the sandy beach, or swimming, this place is for you. The amenities are fantastic and Fedder’s do a great job maintaining the property and made sure we were happy with our stay. We’ve already booked for next year!

Northwoods Fun!

Our family had so much fun on the water--tubing, swimming, playing on the lily pad, fishing, and just enjoying the sandy beach. The cabin is spotless and comfortable. The only problem was no aid conditioning and we had 3 days of almost 100 degrees. We want to return next summer.

75 ft from shore, privacy,which was very high on our list . Awesome. Not a big beach area however like the description said "rustic" Clean cabin, clear water. Saw 1 bald eagle fly across Anvil Lake, loons calling were awesome, especially at night.

Summer Vacation

This lake house is a beautifully set well cared for home with lots of available activities both on the property and near by. The lake is a quiet recreational lake with good fishing and recreational boating off the main Eagle river chain of lakes. We have enjoyed this property for the last two summers with my children and parents. The owners and property managers are always helpful and exceed our expectations. Lovely Relaxing Time at the Lake

This property is comfortable, well-equipped and true to its listing information. The one exception being we expected it to be more open to the lake. It is closer to the lake than it looks like in the listing and still has a lovely view. The woods are a bit thicker than I would have expected as you look out from the house. The house is extremely well equipped with everything you could want in the kitchen and for playing- both in the yard and on the water. All the furniture is very comfortable and everything works well. It is level from the house to the lake. Very little incline and only a couple of steps. The lake is absolutely beautiful! Very clear and very few weeds. The loons, eagles, and hummingbirds kept us company everyday.Very nice home. Thank you!

Amazing cabin in the northwoods. My wife and I were looking for a cabin with a sandy beach for our kids to play and enjoy the northwoods and this cabin lived up to the expectation. This cabin was everything we wished for. From the start the host was extremely attentive and provided a high chair and a pack and play for our baby which made it easier for us. The welcome packet and instructions were very well spelled out so there was no confusion when we arrived at the cabin. When we arrived at the cabin our first impression was how clean and comfortable it felt inside the cabin. The property has everything you need which made it extremely easy to cook and care for our kids. The outdoors is where this cabin shined. The property was very well taken care of and very comfortable to spend the entire day outdoors. Our kids loved the sandy beach and all the recreational toys. We couldn’t believe how much fun our kids had on the property. One of their favorite toy was the floating mat. The kids spent hours just climbing and swimming around the floating mat. A huge perk was being 10 minutes away from downtown Eagle River. Great way to pass the time while waiting for the weather to clear up. Downtown had great attractions, but also a convenient large grocery store.If you are looking for a beautiful cabin with a pristine sandy beach, this cabin is your answer. Best family vacation we had and it is largely due to the great experience we had renting this cabin.

Family Time

The cabin was great. It offered a lot of games, toys and activities for our young family. We were able to cross country ski and fish right off the property. Overall, fun weekend and would definitely come back.
