Bright apartment entirely renovated and tastefully decorated on the 1st floor with 2 bedrooms, a living room decorated with old tiles, 1 bathroom with shower, an independent WC, and an equipped kitchen. washing machines for laundry and dishes.
Located in a pedestrian street, next to Rue Augusta and Place du commerce, you have many restaurants and shops; it is also next to the Baixa-Chiado metro station. internet is provided as well as a flat screen tv with many foreign channels. the house is prepared with all comfort and charm.

4 days in Lisbon (Baixa district); this was a perfect spot to stay, close to many attractions including the waterfront, nearby castle, as well as public transportation. The place was clean, big enough, & the bed was really comfy. We were right in the heart of everything we wanted to see. It was also cool having the big windows in front & getting to look out over the busy pedestrian street in the evenings after we'd come in for the day. Highly recommend!

The location of this beautiful apartment is fantastic. It is right in the middle of a busy area with shops and restaurants and a quick walk to the sea and outdoor plazas, yet it was not noisy in the apartment at all! We had a great time in Lisbon and were so happy we stayed in this great apartment. We were so busy all day we had one night that we ordered take away food and stayed home in this peaceful, comfortable home away from home. Also the bed was so comfortable we got great sleep after our busy days there. We were also happy not to be in the very hilly parts of town! Highly recommend!

We loved our stay in Lisbon. You are on a Main Street above a restaurant but the bedroom in the back is very quiet. Location is near everything within walking distance. I highly recommend this apartment.

Astonishing time in Lisbon

Jose‘s Apartment is fully equipped, very well mantained and clean. The property is on the First floor of a centrally located building close to Baixa District and Alfalma old town. The street is a pedestrian street with restaurants and a little groceries shop. Downstairs is a Pizza restaurant. They all close on midnight, so it ist still quite calm for a downtown location. We certainly will come back for another stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The location of the property is excellent and our hosts were excellent to deal with. The weather was hot, so we very much appreciated the excellent air conditioned apartment.

Convenient and cute apartment

We loved this stay in Baixa and would highly recommend! spacious enough for 4 people, amazing location right in the town center but on a side street so still felt private. The owner/host was very gracious and allowed an early check in which we greatly appreciated with a very early international flight. The only suggestion I would make would be to provide a book for guests that gives directions on how to use appliances, particularly the washer/dryer! When you are from another country, it can be confusing!

This property was perfect for my wife and I. It is centrally located in the Baixa area, close to sights, stores, and more. It is also on a pedestrian only street so no traffic noise. It was clean, well supplied and provided a very comfortable stay. We highly recommend this apartment , and will stay here next time we are in Lisbon.

The room was in a great part of town, close to many of the attractions, public transportation, and many restaurants and shopping. Even though the apartment is on a busy street, the apartment is well-insulated, and the noise was not a problem. Leonel did a great job with the check-in process and he was always available by text.

Perfect stay

The apartment was perfect in so many ways. Very comfortable for three people with plenty of space and excellent double glazing so no street noise filtered upstairs even though there are several restaurants on the pedestrianised street. The location was ideal for walking into Alfama or exploring the Baixa Chiado area and there were some great local restaurants a few streets away. Communication with José was always easy and swift and we had a lovely welcome from Leonel. It felt like a home from home and we look forward to returning one day.

Lisbon Exploration

My wife and I started our 2 week holiday in Lisbon in this VRBO flat. We loved the location and the flat was everything we expected. Very clean, everything worked, directions and instructions were exactly as described. We would recommend this location to anyone staying in Lisbon and want to walk to most of the attractions. Very easy to find. Will need to walk a bit to get from a car or taxi to the flat but this really wasn't an issue. Not far from a place to be dropped off or picked up. I give this a 5 star rating for overall satisfaction.

Clean, comfortable base in Lisbon

Our second stay in this lovely apartment and everything is still as good. Lots of living space with large windows. Compact well-equipped kitchen and a handy washing machine. Quiet back bedroom. Friendly and responsive hosts. The location is very central, although the street itself is not the prettiest. A large property opposite is under restoration- though no construction noise during our stay.

Lovely apartment in a super location

This apartment is in a great location in the heart of Lisbon from where you can plan your daily excursions to the marvellous attractions that Lisbon has to offer but also relax in the evening with a vast choice of places to eat and drink literally on your door step. Many of the main attractions are accessible by foot however if you prefer to use the public transport systems they are easy to navigate. Booking the apartment was straight forward and Jose responded quickly with all the information required in advance of our stay. I have to give a special thank you to Leonel (sorry Jose) who went the extra mile printing our boarding passes for our return flights due to an unexpected problem when our flights were booked. Thank you also to Aderito who met us at the apartment and shared so much with us about Lisbon, where to go and how to get there. If you want to have a fabulous Lisbon experience book this apartment and you won't be disappointed.

The flat was very nice, comfortable and well equipt. The property manager was over the top accommodating. The neighborhood is central to everything. The only problem was the restaurants in the immediate area were pushy lied about taking cards then tried to shake us down for cash. That happened twice close to the flat. Go to the square near the big arch and they were fine. Lots to choose from there too.

Excellent location

This property is ideally located in a pedestrian area, with tons of restaurants, stores, and things to see within walking distance. It was clean and had extra soap, etc. Host was helpful and responsive. We appreciated being able to check in early since there were no guests checking out that day. Only downside is the noise (music/talking) from restaurant below.

It was fun. Blackout put a damper on it and no key for front door. Might consider a battery operated on keypad entry as a back up.
