If you are looking for the serenity of a place to relax, this apartment is for you. Strategically located inside Orvieto's wall. You can get to the house by car to unload luggage, and then park in a convenient parking lot near by (no extra charge).

The Apartment Terrazza Paradiso (Paradise Terrace) was published on this site by another manager from 2015 to May 2019. The last years we decided not to rend the house because of the Covid-19 pandemia. For this reason there are just a few reviews on this site at the moment, but copies of previous customer reviews can be sent on request.
The Apartment Paradiso is a spacious two storey independent house, situated on a picturesque, cobbled side street, a short amble from Orvieto wonderful cathedral. The owners Roberto and Rosalba await to give you a truly Italian welcome, and assure you that all anti-covid security protocols will respected for your safety.

Since you open the door and step into this beautiful house you will fall in love. The elegant marble staircase leads you to a light, spacious accommodation (around 900 sq feet), laid out over two floors, right in the heart of historic Orvieto.

Located in a 16th century building this first and second floor apartment has been decorated with attention to detail and comfort. Carefully selected antiques fill the rooms, colorful art hangs on the walls, precious fabrics enrich the elegant rooms, flowers cascade from terra-cotta planters on the well furnished roof terrace. In short, everything recalls the atmosphere of a "real home" which welcomes and makes you feel immediately "at home"!

Inside this elegant and well-furnished apartment you will find a large open-space living room with parquet floors, comfortable sofas, an antique dark wood sideboard, an elegant round dining table with seating for up to six and a kitchen well equipped with every tool to prepare meals.
For your entertainment in the lounge there is a TV that offers a variety of channels (some English-speaking channels), a radio system to listen to music and WiFi Internet access.

On the second floor there are two spacious and tastefully furnished double bedrooms, each with large King sized beds, beautiful antique sconces, heavy curtains in fine fabrics, terracotta floors and large ceiling fans to cool you during the summer months.
The bathroom is spotless, decorated in pale blues tiles and furniture and soft luxurious towels welcome you to the shower. The apartment has gas central heating for comfort in the colder months. A cot is available upon advance request.

From the second floor you can reach the magnificent terrace on the rooftops of Orvieto, which extends the living space to the outdoors. You will experience a piece of paradise, between colorful flowers and small trees in terracotta pots. The perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the beautifully furnished outdoor dining terrace and seating area ensure our guests can enjoy the wonderful and unique Umbrian light and balmy summer evenings. Spring, early summer and autumn are exceptionally lovely in Umbria and so this terraced garden can be enjoyed throughout the seasons. Two comfortable sofas and armchairs, a lava stone table, wrought iron chairs, sun loungers, pillows and a large umbrella furnish the terrace. Everything about this paradisiacal terrace appeals to the senses: the fragrance of cascading flowers, the waft of hilltop breezes while sunbathing on a comfortable sun lounger... The terrace is equipped with lighting, so it can also be enjoyed at night.
This is the best spot for relaxing, reading a book, sipping a glass of wine or spending a romantic evening under the stars!
