Please note - I don't have instant booking set up but I typically respond in well under an hour to confirm your reservation. This ensures your booking is confirmed and will have no issues with cleaning/double booking. I am usually very quick to respond!

30-130day vacation rental. Contact me for longer stays. Cleaning is $125 but I collect an administrative fee of $375 to cover additional cleaning. I have had long term vacationers not clean during their stay and I pay a lot of extra fees to clean after long term guests. You are expected to keep up with cleaning, remove trash, clean dishes, counters, wash linens, etc. You know, like a responsible adult. If you leave the property in a clean condition and I don't incur extra cleaning fees, the Administrative Fee will be refunded. Any additional charges over $125 will be deducted and the remainder refunded.

Sunny Eastern and Southern Exposure. 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath condo in the heart of Fairplay that sleeps 4. Two spacious bedrooms (both with queen beds) and sofa sleeper with upgraded memory foam mattress. There is a full bathroom stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner. There is a hair dyer and ironing board, too. The living room has a sofa and love seat, 4k TV in Living Room, HD TV's in bedrooms, electric fireplace (great for ambience and extra heat when needed) and a walkout sliding glass door to covered deck with gas BBQ.
There is a dining table that seats 4 and a breakfast bar with 2 stools. The kitchen is stocked with silverware, plates, dishes, pots and pans and cooking utensils. There are basic condiments and coffee and tea as well. The dishwasher makes clean up a breeze! Of course, there is dishwasher detergent and well as dish soap.
The building has a coin op laundry (1.75 wash, 1.5 dry, no dollar changer available) and there is laundry detergent in the pantry. There is a commercial laundromat a few blocks away as well.

Breckenridge is 35 minute drive for world class skiing. Keystone is about 60 minutes from the condo, Vail about 90 minutes. Hoosier Pass is a well maintained and traveled road. Go the speed limit and you will be fine. I provide many tips in my instruction email.

The Condo is walking distance to Front Street shops, restaurants, bars, distillery and South Park City Museum. Very short drive to everything else including grocery story, brew pub, restaurants and gas stations. Excellent location for summer fun during Burro Days or other festivals.

Great little property!

We only stayed here for about 10hrs, over night on our way through town. The area doesn’t have chain hotels so we leaned on VBRO to find a place to stay. The condo is exactly as advertised. The kitchen, fridge, and pantry were way better stocked than the last VBRO we stayed at. I was impressed with the quaint little place and will stay here again if in the area!

Fall Getaway

The property was clean but I would not call it modern except for the floor. It was comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen were dated but very functional. A knife sharpener would help. I was dissappointed there was no grill at the unit but rather at the pool area. The TV was on the side of the sofa and hard to watch.. I did not realize that there was a unit above us which we heard all night as they walked around their unit or took a shower. It was not the most peaceful night. Overall the unit had everything you would need for a weekend stay.

I think you are mistaken about which condo you stayed at and are reviewing. Our condo doesn't have a pool and their is a bbq grill on the deck. Our condo is very well furnished with hickory cabinets and modern appliances (no knife sharpener). Not dated! The tv is in the corner of the living room (not on the end of the couch) and is very easy to watch. Again, I think you are mistaken about which condo you are giving a review for. Take care!

Fourth of July stay in Fairplay 2021

First the good. It was our second stay with you, the first one being very comfortable. The property is nicely located and we thought well enough appointed. It was easy to get in and we felt safe while we were there or away. We thought we had rented a non-smoking unit. The moment we walked in the smell of cigarettes hit us in the face. My wife and I are former smokers and are acutely aware of any tobacco smells. We opened all the windows to vent the place but to no avail, we put up with the smell the whole weekend. We had to wash all of the clothes we brought(even the ones we never wore hanging in the closets or in the drawers). It was very disappointing. Mark, I know this is not your fault. You didn't do it. But your cleaning ladies should have notified you so you can put a warning out to potential renters. In our opinion , the place now needs a "deep" clean including carpets, drapes, shades and maybe some new paint. It really is a bummer someone ruined your place! Sincerely Grant Lewinski

Great home away from home

I spent the summer in Fairplay working on a roadwork project and needed a place to stay. This condo was perfect. Right in the heart of town, walkable to almost every restaurant in town. Very spacious, full kitchen. Was much easier than using a hotel, as I could come and go as I please without having to pack everything up every week. 10/10 would recommend and you can’t beat the price!

We have stayed in this unit several times. It has everything you need to be comfortable. The fact that we keep coming back shows how well the place is maintained and it is basecamp for fly fishing in the area.

We appreciated staying in this well located property. It had everything we needed at an affordable price. We were a little concerned since the property sits right on the main strip through FairPlay, a well traveled road to Breckenridge. We were pleasantly surprised a how quiet inside the condo was. The host was easily accessible and answered us back quickly when we wanted to start our trip a day early. Would rent this property again if in the area.

Great home base for mountain adventures.

Well appointed, modern, clean. Extremely quiet considering it is on the Main Street/state highway going through town. When I booked it I was a little concerned it might be noisy, but the town is extremely quiet at night, and I had no trouble sleeping at all. Super conveniently located in the heart of an area chock full of recreational activities. I really enjoyed my stay, and would not hesitate to return there in the future!

Fairplay Getaway

Easy to access and great communication. Clean and right on the main drag but quiet. Walked a couple blocks to some good eateries. Fairplay was a great location for us to access the Arkansas River and collegiate peaks for hiking and fishing.

Anniversary fun

We stayed in Mark’s unit, which was very clean. It had all the amenities that we needed. It was a great hub for 2 nights since we split our time between Breckenridge and Buena Vista. We arranged a balloon ride, Colorado Balloons, out of Hartsel. It was a spectacular morning for it.

Second time staying this summer. Great location for fly fishing and hiking. Excellent base camp, fully equipped kitchen. The covered patio and grill are great extras. Very comfortable. This is a great place that we will adjust our schedule to be able to book a stay.

Pleasantly Surprising Condo

Recently renovated and easy to access location. The condo was a spacious for the size and bedrooms were great for my family. Would be a straight shot to Breck when it comes time to ski. Can’t wait to stay here again!

We have lived in Colorado Springs since 1999 (Mark is a native of Colorado Springs). We have owned this condo since 2012. It was a long-term rental but when the tenant left we turned it into a vacation rental in 2019.

Why they chose this property

The property is ideally situated on main street, walking distance to most things in town. For Burro Days and other festivals, it is a one or two block walk to the festivities. The off-street parking is nice during those busy times. For skiing, it is 30-35 minutes to Breckenridge.
We have painted and outfitted the condo with all new furnishings in 2019.
