We had an amazing stay here with our family including an 8 year old and a 14 year old. The on site restaurant and scuba/snorkeling company are great. The whole place is very laid back and easy going. It is nice to be in a quiet gated community, yet still be a short drive to all the excitement of Roatan.

Beautiful Place to Stay

Palmetto Bay is a wonderful place to stay! I loved the beautiful grounds of the resort in addition to the beach and dock. The restaurant and bar were very good and the staff was wonderful, especially Jan! Roatan is a special place amd Palmetto Bay was a great home base to explore it!

Perfect location for a working vacation for my partner and me. Communication with Stephanie was excellent, and alternatives were provided when wifi went out in the area. Unit is dated, but impeccably clean, beds are comfortable, and A/C & fans are plentiful.

Beautiful Location in Roatan

From the moment we walked into our Villa we were impressed - it was very clean and just gorgeous. It was a comfortable and spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Perfect for Adult Family

This was a great choice for our party of two parents and four adult kids. The house was clean and comfortable. Added bonus was the resort restaurant and bar, which was really good. The on-site dive shop took great care of us. Multiple dive sites minutes away.

Great stay for family

We had a nice day here and this Cavenagh. It was simple and reasonably priced. It was great to have the pool the restaurant in the ocean right there. It was outfitted OK with amenities but not everything was brand new the way you might expect any US properties, which is pretty common in Central American rentals. Were used to that from traveling to Costa Rica and really enjoy the place.

Great getaway

The experience was tranquil. Palmetto Bay is away from the chaos of west Honduras. There is a wonderful restaurant with live entertainment on the resort. Trips to town can be arranged. Small intimate dive shop offers all one needs to dive. Staff is great. Reef is amazing!

Very cute roomy bungalow tons of towels and very nice decor . Better than photos. Ac only in rooms open air slats but all screened in. So very hot in main area until evening. Property and staff great , dive Center great and cove restaurant very good . Very guilt place with lots of hammocks and great for relaxation or snorkeling and diving by boat .

Wonderful getaway at Palmetto Bay

This bungalow was amazing! It had a beautiful wraparound porch that was screened which was a luxury So that we could sit outside day and night and not get eaten alive by the mosquitoes. The house is very nice and well appointed. Our group of seven slept comfortably in the three bedrooms. Lots of space for all of us! The resort is also really nice. We really enjoyed the layout of the bar, the Cove for dining, the swimming pool and access to the beach. We also walked over to the brewery two afternoons, which is really close and has great beer, food, and ambience. If we ever come back, and we surely will, I look forward to staying here again!

Palmetto Bay Stay

The house and the property are beautiful. The surrounding Banana, Mango and Coconut trees and other vegetation made you feel like you were almost in the jungle. Very cool. All three bedrooms had A/C. The rest of the house did not. The ocean at Palmetto Bay is very weedy and not so swimable. You have to take a boat if you want to snorkel the reef. Make sure to bring bug spray. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Palmetto Bay is beautiful and quiet, with bungalows and homes surrounded by natural landscaping and a nice central pool with a restaurant. If thousands of people are on island from cruise ships any given day, you would never know it here. Our house was quaint, roomy, and clean, with solid screens in all windows and doors, and it was convenient to the pool and oceanfront. The only reason it didn't earn 5 stars is that the coffee pot didn't work properly, there is no oven (for pizza), we couldn't get the grill to work, and the bed sheets need upgrading. We did not complain because the price was fair, and these small things did not take away from our total enjoyment of the location and the house. The screened porch is the best, allowing you to sit outdoors without insects. Arrange a snorkeling trip through Scuba Roatan, the onsite dive shop. Sam took us out and we had a fantastic time.

Muy bonita la cabaña súper cómoda tienen todo los utensilios para cocinar toallas de baño mucho mejor que hospedarse en un hotel primera vez que rentó un bungalows y quedé súper encantada la ubicación y la seguridad exelente la tranquilidad la playa y la piscina muy bonito el restaurante si no quieres cocinar

Nice spot for a family get away.

Nice secluded resort for a family get away. Renting a car is a must if you want to poke around the island, but they can be had relatively cheap at the port.
