About this property

Cozy and clean downstairs unit, with front door parking and outside lanai space. Well stocked kitchen with all the conveniences, washer and dryer, California king size bed. Good airflow (fans but no A/C) and shaded lanai. Conveniently located close to St. Regis and Westin resorts, Hanalei and Anini beaches, world famous golf courses, shopping, restaurants and other activities. Common area includes pool, jacuzzi and barbecues. Sandpiper VIllage was one of the first condos to be built on the North Shore and therefore, it has a laid back, local vibe. Many permanent residents reside there; working, attending school, raising kids. Visitors who stay in Sandpiper can get a real feel for Kauai community and island lifestyle. That being said, there are neighbors upstairs and on both sides, so visitors seeking a tranquil respite would be better off in a private house.

Lovely north shore hale!

Janet provided a well-furnished, comfortable, clean home to enjoy the beautiful Kauai north shore. Beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear were all in great condition. There is a lovely lanai for enjoying morning coffee and evening relaxation…lots of beautiful birds. The sound of neighbors was minimal…beautiful neighborhood. Thank you!!

Clean and convenient

The parking right outside the door made this pleasurable and easy. Very clean and had everything we needed.

OK, but far from perfect

The Condo is quiet big and the parking lot location is very convenient. Walls are thin as paper and you can hear your neighbors. Especially the upstairs neighbors (seemed to be a rental as well as guests changed during our stay) were noisy and you could hear every step. Furniture is outdated and the WiFi was not working properly. Also the kitchenutensils were not as clean as expected in this price range.

My husband Jeff and I have lived in the islands for almost 30 years; working and raising our children who are now grown and raising children of their own. When not working, we like to spend time with our grandchildren. We especially enjoy having friends and family visit so we can take time off to enjoy the island's beauty.

Why they chose this property

I previously rented three other units in Sandpiper before having the opportunity to purchase one. The unit I bought is by far the nicest location in all of Sandpiper. It's off the street which can be noisy and busy. It has great airflow and is always airy and cool. The parking space is right outside the front door which is especially convenient.

What makes this property unique

The lanai of our condo is uniquely located facing a grassy area which is perfect for sipping coffee in the morning or having a cocktail in the evening. The parking spot is directly in front of the front door which is especially convenient when loading or unloading luggage or groceries. The unit has great airflow and faces away from the sun, allowing it to stay cool even on the hottest days.
